What’s everyone’s plans for Thanksgiving this year?

We are heading out to California City for the week. Looking forward to it! We are moving spots this year and plan to be here…




Anyone is welcome if you want to come out for the day or the whole time. We usually do a run to Randsburg on Friday but other then that we just play around camp.

If we didn't have this planned for the last 6 months with other friends and family, I'd be down. Our group is a mixture of random people. Some don't even have offroad vehicles or have never even been to the desert, just bringing their big 5th wheels to hang out in the dirt and eat good food for 5-6 days. Cal City is the easiest for this type of trip since it's so close for most who are going. One day we'll camp with you guys!

Yes sir I got free dump at the Lucerne dump. Anyone want to tow a trailer around and collect money to haul trash for the other camps? Last year I filled my F150 up with trash from our camp, and did it again on Halloween this year too.

Plan on bringing it out lets see if we can fill it up a time or 2 with trash out there. I'm going to bring magnet too last year I remember there was nails all over the damn place our there we can get a little mini Clean up going while we are out there running around.

Putting together a loop run for Thursday (Thanksgiving Day). Plan is to head out in the morning and get back in time to start the food prep and family festivities. Nothing crazy. Red dot is our camp. If we have a fast group we'll B line to Cuddeback Lake Bed in between the loop and do race wars. I know we'll have a few Raptors, a TRX, A SXS and a few dirt bikes.

We plan to be at camp around 9-10am on Tuesday. Three other trailers will be there monday night. I beleive us Miller's will be there till Saturday. I would say the best days to come out for the day is either Thursday or friday. But you could really come and hang any time. Shane finally purchased a Raptor and is coming to visit Thursday also.

but reallyreally, i don't even drive the car when my dad in the car with me. i refuse to since he's like a scared little girl every time i drive and im not puttsing around camp like his grandpa self. i cant handle that in my ears. so i just dont drive if he's in the buggy

Lake season is never over. And there is plenty of desert here too. I’ll be going down to the desert bar one or two of the days and could probably cruise around Havasu as well. I have a newborn though so my pace will be pretty slow.
