Upcoming BLGT Meet Terra Crew Speed Metal

Yup and $30 per person besides the driver. Not a cheap event to attend to drive around a graded off-road dirt lot.

$200 isnt that much this day in age. snore is $650-$1200 to race. and to do 3 races at k1 which is what a total of 15 min is $70.

now break down the costs to put on an event...
Insurance per driver/rider?
cost of facilities
cleaning crew
power
the week they spend setting it up physicall
the 4 months spent organizing all the vendors and such
time away from family.
The gas and all the trips they have to make out there.
the rentals to stay onsite for the time they are running it.
the 12-16 hour days they are working
And i bet they still dont put as much back into the company as you would think.

not to mention the fact, where else are you going to do this? Literally nobody else is putting on an event like this.... And then the next statement is going to be... well it was cheaper last year..... Yup it was, but if its anything like our events, prices go up as it gets bigger, they never go down. People want better atmosphere, better sound, better food, better orginization. all that costs more.

Instead of bitching, try a day in the shoes of the people trying to put on a cool event for you......

i know this sounds cunty, it might be my long days at work and early mornings.... but truely i use to think Terra was dumb, but as i have got wiser this is incredible for our sport, and they are putting in so much energy that is never realized. We are all cheap as a society because we can drive in the desert for free... but to have an event like this, its costs money. look how many old timers miss ROR... i remember back then saying it was expensive too...

It's fucking $100 Bucks to fill up my shit box 4 runner right now. its $30 bucks to show up and hang out

They are trying to run a business and do cool shit. It's not a non profit.
