Camp4lo is heading north for a chill, back-to-basics weekend in the mountains.

Primitive camping, light trail runs, fires, fishing, and beers under the stars.

We’re calling it the Stateside Sierra Stimulus — a no-frills meetup for folks who just want to camp, cruise, and connect.

🟢 20 rigs max
🎣 Fishing optional
🚽 Amenities limited
🍻 Vibes strong
🎁 Trail gift bag included — our partners hook it up
📍Somewhere near June Lake — you’ll get coordinates after sign-up
💰 Small fee — because this takes time and gas and I like to live indoors sometimes.

Just show up. We’ll take care of the rest.
Email info@camp4lo.com to get on the list

Charging people to hang out and camp in a free location with little amenities to offset your fuel cost is strange to me
I get where you’re coming from—but what we’re offering is a lot more than just “camping in a free spot.” These events take a ton of behind-the-scenes work to pull off:
We pre-run and scout the area to make sure it’s solid
  • Spend time planning, coordinating, and troubleshooting
  • Work with sponsors to secure cool giveaways (often worth more than the trip cost)
  • Design and print shirts, gather swag, and hand-assemble bags
  • Provide food and drinks Friday night
  • Handle every email and question personally
  • Rally our crew to help make it all happen

It’s not just camping—it’s a curated weekend where you can show up, crack a beer, and relax. The vibe, the people, the planning—it’s all there for you.

We know this isn’t for everyone, and that’s cool. Some folks love the DIY solo thing. But for others, a low-cost, high-vibe, ready-to-go weekend with good people and great trails is absolutely worth it.

Just offering something different.

This sounds cool. What's the fee?

I ask because there's a few Raptor groups who plan these types of trips and the prices to join are typiclly out of control. I wont mention names, but there is one run in particular where they want $300 to go drive around in Pismo with a bunch of Raptors for a few hours lol. What's crazy is they sell out in just a few days. I guess what makes it "worth it" is the prizes, and the odds of winning are pretty high.

Totally get where you’re coming from—and yeah, I’ve seen some of those $300-for-a-day deals too. We’re aiming to keep this as real and reasonable as possible. It’ll likely be around $200 for the weekend.

That covers:
Planning and pre-running to scout the area
A swag bag with gear from legit partners (Milestar Tires, Ride Baja Insurance, Metal Cloak, etc.)
Friday night beers & food
Light trail guiding and coordination
Firewood, trash haul-out, and logistics
And a solid chance at some pretty killer giveaways

It’s primitive camping, sure—but we’re curating a good vibe, cool people, and a well-run, low-stress weekend in a rad part of the Sierras. I think the value is definitely there without it being some overhyped cash grab.

Would love to have you out if it lines up!

Sounds like a good time to me.

DM me your address I'll mail ya some swag for the swag bags.
I'll be tryin to button up my 3rz swap getting ready for the Rubicon so won't be able to make it out. Maybe catch ya on the next one.

Woooooffffff. That's double the late sign up fee for a week at KOH

If it was $50 bucks people would bitch.

For a well seasoned S10 Operator like yourself. I get skipping such a trip. But some folks don't have a bunch of friends with cool trucks yet, know where to go, what to do and just want to show up hang out and be guided and fed, have a good time with like minded peeps.

Not for you. No big deal. No reason to hate, IMO. Just do your own thing.

I have not been on any of the Camp4lo Baja runs but I have seen them post up for the last few years on IG. Looks pretty cool to me. 🤷‍♂️

Ok I’ve been working on this thing. Here’s what I have so far

We’ll meet up Friday afternoon near Kramer Junction. Exact time TBD, but figure after pie. We’ll caravan from there to a primitive campsite in the Sierras.

Once we get there, we’ll throw down some street tacos and cold beer—on us. When the beer runs out, it runs out.
Bring backup if you’re thirsty.

Saturday we’ll do an easy, scenic trail run with a couple cool stops. Nothing crazy—just good views, mellow vibes, and a chance to cruise together.

Back at camp, everyone’s on their own for dinner. Fire up your Jetboils, grills, or campfire recipes. Then we hang out, drink, laugh, and raffle off some goodies.

Raffle’s simple: Every rig gets a gift bag, and every gift bag has one raffle ticket. That’s it. No buying extra chances.

So far we’ve got swag from TemboTusk, Milestar Tires, MetalCloak, and Ride Baja Insurance (they always throw in some hats and other stuff).

We’re working on more partners for some discount codes and stuff for the gift bags too—will update once confirmed. Ask anyone who has attended our Fiesta about the gift bag hauls

Planning to open sign-ups Monday morning.

Limited spots—probably 20 rigs max.
