So I picked up these 2.5" bypass bodies a few years ago at the offroad swapmeet.

Not sure if they're 10s or 12s

Was told they're race series but not sure.

What's my cheapest option for piecing them together or is it just not worth it?

Finally cleaning my shop and want em gone or finished.

They were engraved on the sides with "H1 wiks & H2 wiks" Not sure if that associated with a race team.

They were in fact race series. The top caps are engraved with the "KING" logo rather then etched onto the anodizing.

That's great! Had no idea

The 10" Pure Race is 19.81" compressed.

Thanks Geoff!

That would leave about 2.31" inches for the rod end and seal head. Seems close but not sure.

Maybe one of you race series ballers can get a rough measurement of the seal head flange and rod end face to pivot?

Just found this dimension. I'm thinking these are 12s, but I could be wrong.

I've got roughly 17.5"+2.5" = 20" plus seal head cap

Now the next issue is piecing these together as cheaply as possible.

piecing them together for sure wont be cheap, BUT, it will most likely be cheaper than buying a new set of race series shocks, kartek will have most everything to piece them back together in stock, I would recommend making/keeping them piggyback to keep cost down, resi hoses are crazy expensive to have made. If you need any help feel free to hit me up! Im always down to lend a hand however I can.

You are right thinking it is a 12”

I'm think the offroad swapmeet in September might be my best bet.

We've got a hydraulic shop here in town that makes hose for pretty cheap but I'll keep that piggy back in mind too!

Thanks for the help man! Really appreciate it.

another tell is to check the wiper cap and see if it has a press in or snap ring seal retention!

That's gonna help when I'm digging through bins at 2am in the Morongo casino parking lot lol

Was hoping for 10s but 12s can work. I'll probably just weld a uniball on the shaft to save some space.
