Random fab projects

I’ve been doing a lot of work lately and figured I’d make a thread to post all my random work in so I’m not making new threads for every project, figured I’d start with this 4 runner bumper I knocked out not to long ago, was a tricky one because the customer wanted something that would essentially never work and just look absolutely goofy due to his body style being older then the pictures showed so all the body lines that where followed in the pics provided, didn’t even exist on his truck, so a whole new approach was taken. Was nerve racking due to him just having to trust what I had in mind started with cutting up the oem bumper, then started playing with my main tube/frame horns. After that was hung I wanted to run my skid plate tubes, but also didn’t really wanna just land on the oem crossmember so I made some really small nitered tubes. With partitions to land my tubes on and that came out looking pretty sweet! Since I cut the oem bumper there was only 2 mounting points in the fender wells so I made some tabs for the bumper to slip in front of, and used some countersunk hardware/washers for that clean look yo.little bit of steel it, lil skid plate actions and she was on her way and I had a pocket full of sunshine

Forgot to add customer loved it and were doing a roof rack here shortly for it!!

Forester bumper I did a few weeks back, was a fun one with a lot of bends lol bolts into oem bad bar location via frame horns I made haha

Bumper I knocked out today, bought the frame horns from dirt king and that helped speed up the process a ton haha started around 9am and finished around 8pm with a few long brakes because it’s so fuckin hot

Last few months have been beyond busy for me, gonna start posting on here more because you guys are cooler then instagram my baby boy popped out on February 19th, being a dad has been awesome I cannot wait to get this little dude in the desert!

I had a build thread back on Dezert rangers Of the build for this buggy and figured I would share a bit.

This is the original plan for the buggy I dreamed up while I wasn’t paying attention at community college



I had built and rebuilt a Baja bug like three times over, me and a buddy had learned to fab on that Baja, so there was quite a bit of scetchy fab work going on.

I stripped the bug for parts and sold the chassis for waaaaayyyy to cheap.

And started building a buggy from the ground up.

It was a really cool buggy and worked well,

I sold it because I wanted something a little more practical. But would love to know how it’s doing if any of you guys have seen it around
