photo of your bike!

Thanks! Also going to drop the chainring from a 36T to a 30T to make the older 9 spd X.9 more climbing friendly. Eventually I want to go to a 11 or 12 spd set up but I don’t know ANYTHING about the newer stuff yet

Jenson has you covered there.

or get something used on pink bike.

it's all pretty simple to install and tune once you dig into it.

I run a SLX Shimano mid level shit and its been pretty bullet proof. on my 2nd Derailleur and shifter in 3000 miles.

First rip on the new to me DVO Onyx D1 180mm. Shes a ripper need to address the clapped out rear now.

How's it feel climbing now that you've gone up like 40mm?
It was great. old fork at 160 mm so not that big of a jump

I think just the general stoke to be on the bike with some new parts. I was thinking about that while suffering on a long climb. Some times that's what it takes to motivate you to get out there.

Oh right on. I thought the Stumpjumpers were more limited than that.
