Off road industry drama

He took my buddy, 1400 racer Josh Williams, for $1000 a couple months ago. Josh paid him for tires, sent someone to go pick them up at nicks house in HB. Nick hid inside his house while they rang the bell because the tires were supposed to be on the driveway. So they leave after a while, nick says “I put the tires on the driveway, someone must have stole them. Sorry man”
2 days later nick posts a picture of his truck with those same tires mounted on his truck.
Apparently the money is going up nicks and his wife’s noses.
 
Sir Mikkkle Cocks posted like 69 billion "stories" of screenshots of a million people bashing him. hahah

i always thought he was a doucher, but i didn't know about any of the recent scam shit he was doing. hah. not surprised.

I’ve known Nick for ever, never done business with him, never would.

While I do have first hand knowledge of a few things he has done, though people i know. it seems some of the ppl Mike cox is posting screen shots from are known in the industry. Also, I have heard horror stories about damn near everyone who is part of the off road industry. It’s one reason I trust so few in this industry with my money.

I guess my questions revolve around the fact that I’ve heard the owners of some of these companies Nick is repping know about some of this drama. So what’s really going on imo seems deeper for some reason.
 
There is so so much more that doesn’t get talked about online. A lot of it illegal and downright unacceptable stuff.

The off-road industry is fucking gay.

Finally gonna smarten up and start my underwater basket weaving hobby. Bitches love weaved baskets.
 
Mike Cox isn't a saint with a perfect history either, some shit work has left his shop as well sooo.

Im waiting for the story on Fichter's payments and James truck to surface, should be interesting.

I will say I think there is a big difference between sub par work and blatantly ripping off dozens of people. All Mikes recent work looks great and he has really progressed as a fabricator, Id have no hesitation having him build me a badass Bronco!!

I agree, except the part of having him do any work for me.
 
Over the years so many that throw stones have lived in the glass house at some point it seems in this industry.

Taking people’s money for parts and not delivering imo is 100% unacceptable and that kind a of bullshit needs to be aired and these people have no place being in the industry as a trusted source for x y or z… thinking you can get away with it is fucking nuts!

Shaddy / shit fabrication on a customers vehicle is nuts too, liability and reputation imo wouldn’t be worth it to me. Not delivering on an expectation would infuriate me.

Nick is not the best at business and does have to wait on suppliers but he always comes through with the deals he does. I think Cox is butt hurt that Nick got put level 4 discount at King and Nick was selling shocks for only $100. over his cost.
 
Yeah King is always 12 weeks it seems for shocks, so unless they're on order it's gonna take months to get them. Most people don't understand that and have the Amazon, 2 day delivery mentality.

if nick isnt conveying that up front, that is his own fault though... As a business you need to be upfront to avoid this mess.
 
Yup and if you order through polyperformance and we dont have it in stock we will refund you if you cancel the order. We tell people the 4-6 weeks and if it doesn't happen they can cancel for a full refund, but we are an official business and have the capital to do that.
