Hey all, after following on IG for quite some time I suppose its time to jump back into the forum world!

I’m from Northeastern Nevada, specifically Elko. I leave my house and have 100’s of miles of dirt roads in any direction you choose, so a capable rig is a must for me. Current ongoing projects are my 1994 Bronco, 1988 Toyota 4Runner.

My Bronco: I picked this up in 2022 in somewhat rough shape. It was in stock form with the exception of the wheels and 32” tires. My plan was a stock width sleeper so this is what I’ve managed to throw together. It’s been put through its paces in Baja, and all over Nevada. Build thread to follow but the quick and dirty version is C&T stock width beams, Cho radius arms, Richer Racing towers 14x3” King IBP Coilovers, Desolate Rear shock mount with 2nd gen raptor takeoff shocks, Deaver Q80’s, and Desolate spring hangers/shackles, Walker Evan’s Beadlocks and 35” BFG KM’s.

1988 4Runner: This thing has been a budget build from the beginning, Picked it up for $500 in very rough shape. After getting it running I found an old Total Chaos torsion bar LT setup….it came installed on a clapped out 2nd gen 4Runner with the top cut off, auto trans, and a 3.0 with a blown head gasket (go figure). I stole all of the good parts off of the donor 4Runner and sent it to the scrap yard. Still a work in progress but its a fun 4Runner that’s about to get a lot more done to it…including a build thread I guess.

Another nice bronco!

How do you like the raptor shocks on the rear?

Im going to use them on mine when I get around to working on it.

They’ve served their purpose but I never had them revalved for the Bronco. I’m sure they could be better but I will be going with some Bronco spec Kings in the future.

Nice projects. If you don't mind me asking what do you do for work in Elko? There's not much out there

I’m a firefighter for the city, but I was born and raised here. I grew up on a cattle ranch but the main industry is mining. The largest gold mines in the US are located here. However you are correct other than mining and ranching there isn’t much industry. I like it here, there is plenty of area to roam without all the people that big cities have haha.
