Definitely get a top out washer! If you wanna get real fancy you can play with diameters of the washer and spacing from the comp shims as well and see how it affects your valving. Keep the sleeve as well, That reduces the leverage the piston has on the shock body at full extension. removing that "could" result in the piston gaining enough leverage against the oil at full extension and allow it to twist the seal head out of the body of the shock! (Hope that makes sense )
