Members and Rigs

Hi ya’ll, glad to be here. My name is Sam, and this is my 96 Jeep Cherokee. It’s a 4.0HO 5 speed with 4WD. I’ve only done minor mods to it so far, including a 3 inch rough country lift and 31s. I’m fairly active in the Backcountry 4WD group, and love to go on runs and get togethers when I can!

Yo!

My name is Cade,

I am an aircraft mechanic on A-10 warthogs in Boise, but in my free time I wrench on trucks. I also do fabrication and installs on the side.

My truck is a 2006 Tacoma with a spacer lift in the front and blocks in the back. Check my forum page to follow my “build”.

I only take it on fire roads so I don’t scratch it, but while still be able to get pictures of me offroading😎

What's up guys! This is our 2021 4Runner. What started as a weekend camp vehicle with the dogs, turned into an overland inspired rig, that's still built to handle most local offroad trails (minus crawling.) List of upgrades is too long, but check our bio for a full list. A few of our favorites include front and rear bumper, plethora of Baja Designs lights, interior molle panels throughout and our Garmin Tread XL to navigate us through the mountains.

We are slowly getting more and more active within the IDB4WD community, and couldn't think of a better group to adventure our beautiful backcountry through Idaho with.

Hey everyone, I’m Denniston and run Backcountry4wd. I currently have a 5th gen 4runner that I bought stock and have slowly been building. I also have an 81 Toyota pickup crawler. I started out wheeling in West Virginia on dirt roads just hauling ass and hitting puddle. Moved to AZ after high school where I got into prerunning and rock crawling. Got married and had kids and got into more adventuring. Now I’m trying to build the 4runner to be ok at everything but still be road trip worthy. Thank you for reading and following along!

Sup y'all, I'm also an active member of the Backcountry 4wd crew. I lived in Illinois and Mississippi before moving to Idaho last summer. I've got a lightly modified 2008 GMC Canyon. It's a pretty good all-around machine for any type of wheeling and camping. The daily driver/backup rig is a 1986 Isuzu Trooper with a 2.2l turbodiesel. Got a crawler project in the works but can't spill the beans quite yet! Anyways, glad to be on a cool forum like this. Follow me on instagram here to see random shit about these rigs!
Cheers.

Hey guys! My buddies call me Boba. I am a new member of the Backcountry 4WD guys. I was born and raised here in the Treasure Valley of Idaho. I have a mildly built 2004 Toyota Tacoma. Since I have had this thing, its taken me over rocks, BFE land, and long highway trips. I wanted to really make this a more overlander build, but as I started running with this crew, overlanding is just the beginning. This is my daily to and from work. Next fall I will be getting a new daily, and throwing this taco on some LT. Thanks
