About 3 years ago I (mostly) finished building a '88 YJ up to go crawling and take the family camping up in the mountains.
Stretched the tub to LJ length to fit more stuff/kids
Wheelbase stretched to 108"
40s
Dana60 Front
14B Rear
GM LQ9 6.0
700R4(the bane of my existence)
Atlas II 4.3:1
Linked with 14" 2.5 coilovers out back
1.5 Rubicon express spring over leaf springs and 12" 2.5 bypasses up front
Hydro assist and a winch and stuff.

sweet, got more pics? how is it in the desert? whoops?
It's not a speed demon, but it is comfortable in the whoops. I've got the rear setup with 7 inches of up travel, and the front at 6. Previous owner did the leaf spring hanger mounts up front and they're not as beefy as I'd like so I try not to smash things super hard at speed.
