Finished up these chromoly billet link pockets for a bronco 3.5 housing. Also designed and cut out some caliper bracket for one of the CM we are working on. Trying to get all the brakes wrapped up. Ran out of the -3 fitting so gonna have to wait for those to finish up the rest of the brake plumbing.
Sway bar arms got broched. Got slit them tonight then they are off to anodizing tomorrow. We are hoping to broch them Inhouse in the future to speed up the lead time.
Machined the threaded bosses and got them all welded up so I can finalize the crossmember mounts. Also got the last little hole in the fire wall all patched up alot with alot of silicone bronze welding. Sway bar arms are back from broch. Ran the last operation on them and dropped them off at anodizing.
Updated The race truck thread time to update this one. We have been fairly busy lately. Expo back half tubing is completed and fuel tank is ready to rock. Need to make the hold down and panels but we are making progress on it.
GMC build got it bump stops mounted steering arms cut off and new ones added with 10* more angle for the steering due to the bulkhead Being mounted further up into this chassis than typical. At least no I have two different steering tab configurations for different chassis. This one had more drop and needed that exta 10* of angle to keep everything happy. We also got the radiator and brakes 90% plumbed. We are currently working on other plumbing and mounting the hood and grill on a tilt forward hinge system. The hinges will move the hood up and forward to allow it to clear the bumper etc.
Been busy and feel like I am going in circles sometimes. A few updates. Expo fuel cell hold down is done and been working on some of the smaller things that just take time. Fire suppression tannks on the expo arenmounted on a removable tray that captures the tank. The mount regiaters on a small spud with a countersunk bolt and has and upper mount came with the tank and just bolts in as well. The two tanks are mou ted behind the rear kids seat and will be plumbed accordingly. Also been completing some machining stuff like the crossmember for a GMC ( not our build) that allows the motor to come out without interfering with mounts.
Some bump stop pads we machined for a project. Been waiting to machine these for over half a year. Lol finally found some time to knock them out. Alos alot of panel work going down on the "TT Expo". Should we start a build for the TT Expo.
Some more Expo panel work and center counsel. Also a picture of the wife old truck. Fab is just about done on the front. Just finalizing the hinge system for the hood.
Designed and machined this holley dash mout for a project we are working on. It mounts to the BMS steering column or any 2 inch diameter tube. I also designed a flush mount that I still need to machine for another project. What u think?
