Might have something to do with attachment optimization I just did... was like 30,000+ attachments took 49 Gigs to 28 gigs to clear space on the server.. might have reset the cache ?I click on threads I’ve read before and then am bounced back to post one, especially if it hasn’t been updated for a while. What’s up there?

It occasionally functions correctly as stated, but it’s more of an issue when say the OP hasn’t updated for weeks, posts something new, then I get sent back to the first post. It has always happened.Might have something to do with attachment optimization I just did... was like 30,000+ attachments took 49 Gigs to 28 gigs to clear space on the server.. might have reset the cache ?
Once you go into a thread and go to the last post and reopen it does it still take you to the 1st post ?
I wonder if that is the cache setting on your work computer or phone clearing out the temporary files. Which will delete browsing history and temp files making it seem like your opening the thread for first time ?It occasionally functions correctly as stated, but it’s more of an issue when say the OP hasn’t updated for weeks, posts something new, then I get sent back to the first post. Me working on my website 90% of the time.PS: I have no idea what I'm doing...
It’s unique to this forum. Other forums I’m on always come back to the last post I read.I wonder if that is the cache setting on your work computer or phone clearing out the temporary files. Interesting. I’ll try that. I always click the red part, which will take me to the last post that was unread by me, but only when the thread hasn’t been updated for a while or I haven’t been on for a week does it default back to the first post. I’ll try your method and report back. When clicking the red link it takes me to the beginning. Purple link takes me to the end.
