ill get some pics of the Chop Shop this afternoon and post up. i just fucking wish cameras/pictures were a thing like 5 years earlier! i wish i had pictures of the one thing we did in my shop that gave it the official name of "The Chop Shop". hahah

when it's cleaned up and shit put away......... it's actually enough room to work on shit.
i haven't turned one wrench or turned on on e grinder over here in like 69 fucking months tho............

You were getting down in this shop area when you first started tearing apart the truck a little bit ago and it all slowly faded off. It should be cooler in AZ nowadays and good cooler weather to do these types of projects no?

Compared to other peoples real estate I think you doing alright with the amount of room you have to work in. Keep up the hard work

Yeah, yeah. lkike i said, when it's clean and upkept.... it works out pretty awesome for what it is.
but...... fucking life. life just gets in the fucking way, especially when you have a child that isnt really into just sitting around watching me do shit on HIS truck. haha.
that, and i guess some MIGHT say yoga and swing dancing kinda just a teencyweency bit muy pequeno takes most of my free time right now. so the ranger/shop/working on shit has been put on the backburner. hah.


no Brogs this weekend though, so first order of business this afternoon is to satisfy my extremeTBI-OCD and re organize/clean up the shop. all so i can sit and look at it and think of shit i need to do for the rest of the weekend. not actually do anything, but ill be satisfied with a clean shop area. haha

I was cleaning up after the last project, figured I'd grab a couple pics. Two bays are 32ft deep for the ability to put two cars in and still do work. Currently taken over by bikes as it's moto season.


Fab area has a 4x10 metal table with 1" top that got scrapped at work. Kids get the mobile fab table cart. Ancient Miller TIG and a Miller MIG I got in high school due welding duties, multiple harbor freight boxes that are overflowing, and all the storage is on the left side. Back wall has all the hand tools under, a small mill that hasn't been used yet, and all the clean metal and wood storage. Right side has press, big HF drill press, tube bender and roller on cart, and a free belt sander that has been great. Buried on the table is an old small lathe that works well enough to clean up tube ends and a sheet metal brake.


Wife has her own bay that I can't touch for the sake of household peace. Gotta remember to pull it out before getting dusted with over spray or grinding dust. Plenty more storage above.


Far side has a wall full of storage from past, current , and future projects.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm...... I did. Hah.
I'm pretty dang good these days. At least for the hands I've been dealt. I've got a handful of moves in my pocket, enough to go social dancing for like 2 or 3 songs before I either, start repeating my routine OR my legs give the fuck out OR I just eat complete shit and tackle my follow down to the ground as well...... (which I've actually been doing a lot more of than id like to admit recently. Hah)
