Doing the Alcan in the winter

Leaving From Missoula Montana heading to Anchorage Alaska in a 2000 Chev Tahoe leaving Dec 1 have done the road before not this late but it should be a lot of fun lot of nite driving and unexpected weather changes, looking for anyone who has left this late.

Lance talks a bit about his trips up the article circle and the Alcan 5000 rally in the beginning of this POD. I believe both were during summer though.



You got the Tahoe pretty set up?

He’ll yea man, winter Alcan trip is a bucket list for me. I drove it in October once and it was beautiful. Lots of driving lights! And pack insulated coveralls in case you have to work on the rig in the cold.
