Ok well I don't remember all the details of this trip but I know I was riding passenger with my brother in his 2001 Silverado that I built the front kit on, but rear was still stock. I know we started off the 395 and headed to Saline valley to camp before heading up Goler Wash to the Barker Ranch to see where Charles Manson was caught. Than we continued onto the other side of death valley to Baker for some food before camping in the Kelso Dunes to end the trip. I believe it was a 3 day trip but I don't remember exactly. I believe my brother stick welded shock mounts on 2 trucks that failed on the trips with a couple batteries and jumper cables for leads.

I have all the photos I took of this trip on my old photobucket account BUT it won't allow me to change the privacy settings to share the entire album.

That was Brian's truck that broke the front shock mount. Definitely a cool trip! Brian, @WW_RANGER_X 's brother and I climbed through that gate and went pretty far into that mine. Also, I was riding shotgun in @sdecurti 's truck. I got hammered when we camped at Kelso dunes and I was hurling the whole way back. Scotty had to pull over quite a few times lol. It was rough!

Good times for sure! Tommy's brother stick welded my lower shock mount together and accidently tacked the shock shaft. By the time we got to camp that night the shock was completely blown lol.

Atleast they were just foa smooth bodies

Yeah I remember he was all bummed because he hit the shaft with lead and fucked it up. I told him it's better than a shock hanging not mounted.
