Breakfast at The Oaks Restaurant in Angelus Oaks. Fucking excellent breakfast burritos.

Cruised up the 38 over Onyx Summit ~8500ft and jumped onto 2N01 toward Broom Flats

2N02 to Burns Canyon and stopped at the big tree for beers and shit talking

Blasted down Burns Canyon and took a piss outside PioneerTown before whipping a bitch and heading back up to Big Bear. It was fucking cold and foggy in the dezert.

Look at the veritable palette of different mud colors adorning my backhalf. That sounded kinda weird. Fuckit I’m leaving it.

Slippery muddy holed-out hill climb. My truck shook its ass all the way up like a sassy Latina. @Tree trunk ’s bronco effortlessly walked up it, even with the worst mud tires ever—Baja Projects.
Lame screen grabs:

back up Burns canyon, we stopped at the big tree to talk shit again.

it got pretty fucking muddy as we cruised into Baldwin Lake on 2N02. We jumped on pavement for a mile or so and then hit 3N16

East side of 3N16:

I think @Tree trunk must’ve been trying to get a pic of me taking a piss. I’ll allow it.

Such an awesome day 🤘🏼
Great company
All the trucks did great

I do love riding behind linked trucks…. The movements are mesmerizing…. Kinda like the movements of a well endowed female.

While @Turboyota’s truck fit that bill 👌
Riding behind @Bpbuilt,s explorer was like watching a B team stripper dance on pay day! She might not have that junk in the truck but boy… does it move!

enough of that lol. But I’m sure @bpbuits Monroe’s got hot enough to cook an egg on 🤣

My only confirmed bugaboo was a stuck thermostat. I think I have some air trapped in the housing because it’s a new thermostat with the speed hole drilled to let off steam.
All good though 👍

What did piss me off was all the work I did putting in this badass Kenwood vhf/uhf radio and hooking it up to my intercom, only to find that most or all of the pre programmed channels on the rugged race radios don’t work with my radio….

@BROmanian came in clutch with the visibility upgrade

Great times for sure! Explorer had no issues, but what was left of the bushings in the rear suspension has left the the chat. Towards the end of the day it’s started feeling like I was in a covered wagon exploring the west. Pretty sure my rear breaks are shot too as they sound like a dying coyote. Rear suspension is next on the list!
Only snapped a couple photos over the dayIMG_1037.webpIMG_1039.webpIMG_1042.webp
