It all started with a 1975 Camper Special we found online. It was in rough condition but all we were really going to use was some.of the frame and cab.We shopped around for a fab shop to do the heavy lifting and ended up going with Eversen Fabrication. We wanted to build it to NORRA specs so we could race it at a later date if desired. They were responsible for making the truck a full roller, cage, mounting motor and trans, custom suspension and did such a killer job on it we couldn't have been happier. The motor was built by our buddy Brad Beachamp. It's a 454 small block Ford breathing through a Walker Performance air filter putting 750hp to the ground. Brad is also responsible for.building all of our class 1 motors back in the day. The motor is coupled to a T400 built by Culhane. From the trans power is transfered through a Drive Line Inc drive shaft to our custom Evan Weller rear gear set. All of our hub, brakes, and masters were provided by Jamar Brakes. Brett King helped us get all the shocks set up. Lil Michael's did all the final body fitment, chassis and cab paint. The wheels are chromed Ultra 103's wrapped in some BFG 40's. We have enough Baja Designs lights to make the pitch black Baja nights seems like day. Everything ties together through touch pads and wired up by BDR Brian. Pops handled all the plumbing himself. Seems kinda fitting since this truck is the same year our plumbing company was founded. She was a labor of love for almost 3 years. Now we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Me: damn that looks like a lot like the Chase motorsports f100.
Also me: scrolls up and re-reads the title of the thread.

Awesome truck! Eversen did a number on this bad boy!

Rack or no Rack?

I'll probably leave the rack on for the Expo since we just had our companies 50th anniversary but it'll most likely come off for any offroad trip. Or just slap a RTT on it and call it a prelander.
