Figured it was time to make a thread for our TT (Travel Trailer). My wife and I bought this thing back in 2019 with no real idea of what we were doing or in for. I’ve been camping my whole life, but it was either in ground tents or inside a camper shell. This was super new to both of us. Well, here we are 60+ trips later and 12k towed miles and we absolutely love this thing. Sold my Ranger to pay this thing off. This will definitely be our life long trailer. Even if later on we decide to get something new we will always have this one. It’s small enough to keep around. We still have tons of plans for it as far as upgrading and modifications. As of now the next thing to do is remove the rear cargo rack/bumper and build a new bumper that’s strong enough to hold my son’s dirt bike. I want to upgrade the axle to a 5200lbs axle but I put the new wheels on and I’m not ready to change the bolt pattern just yet. Also would like to do some interior mods but I’m leaving that up to the wife.

Here’s the layout. The only thing we would change would be bunks over dinette.












Added new wheels, 235 BFG ko2s, and awning Boogey Lights.









Then added a Poles And Holders flag pole.

Did a few other small things. Electric tongue jack, marker lights on the rear cargo rack, Polk audio outside speakers, tv and tv mount inside with Blu-ray player, converted the entire trailer to LED inside and out, maxx-air roof vents, and other small stuff. Other small stuff id like to do is under glow lighting, mud flaps and a race radio/base station inside for those big back camp trips like we do for thanksgiving.

Thanks! Its the 174BH model, so the house is 17.4' long and overall is 21' long (probably about 24' long now with the rear cargo rack).
Factory sticker says dry weight is 2880lbs but id imagine im pushing well over the 3500lbs limit, which is why i want to upgrade the axle. I can change the axle to a 3.5K "HD" which changes the axle to a thicker 3" tube instead of the standard 2-3/8", but at that point i may as well bump up to a 5.2K.

Yup 4runner pulls it just fine with a weight distribution hitch, but now that we have the Raptor it's towing duties are over lol.

Couple inside pics. Father in law is one hell of a wood worker so he made us a stove cover, jacket hooks in the dinette area, mirror with frame and towel hooks for the bathroom.









I added struts to the bed floor to lift up so I have access to the storage area. The trailer definitely lacks in storage for as much shit as we bring along.



I installed a Voyager rear facing camera system to keep an eye on the rack and also traffic behind me. Game changer.



Couple other random things. Added a receiver tube on the tongue so I can store my weight distribution hitch coupler while out playing in the truck. Added a propane hose fitting onto the junction block under the trailer so I can attach my Blackstone grille hose to it so I don’t have to bring a separate bottle with us. Infinite Rule coupler lock when storing.







Handheld radio holder for now until I can set up a big radio, so when we’re hanging around camp and someone needs something while out playing we can try to assist them.
