Back to a Pretender? Goal Contender.

Don't do this! I fucked up. This Toyota 22g sheet metal can't hold a rivnut. Or at least the ones I tried to use. What a chit show. The one on the left kind of grabbed so I just left it and I actually got the ladder to torque down on that side. Under both mounts I used Gorilla double sided tape which through my lower mounts off but I can fix that later. 9 months later and the ladder is still solid is hell and I never fixed the lower mounts.

Totally.
Rear locker, great shocks, and the biggest tires that don't quite fit would be a great starter recipe. Is that a solid rear axle year? I would talk to Ian (Wheeleveryweekend) as he probably has a decent 8112 tune for that and he is doing a black Friday sale right now.

Solid rear axle? Huh? You've touched Ian's dick haven't you? Don't lie bro. You grow up together? Went on a family camping trip? Come on. Don't play!

Sorry, not a Toyota fan boy so I don't know one gen from another from looks. I could have sworn that the early Sequoias were solid rear axle. Hence my question. I was wondering if that one was more truck like than Subaru.
Abd as far as Ian goes, never met him in person. I would think our age difference would have made it extremely difficult for us to grow up together. I just knew he was a Toyota fan boy like yourself and probably had something decent in the way of a off the shelf tune... but you go on fantasizing about dudes touching dicks on camping trips. Sounds like you grew up in the scouts. 😃

alright.... i can't be the only one thinking this... but if you're in a wheelchair, what good does the ladder do for you?

dickhead questions aside - this thing looks rad. Love how much use it looks like you're getting out of it.

No body on frame mid/full size Toyota’s (Tacoma / Tundra / 4runner / Sequouia) have IRS. That’s some Big 3 / euro bologne

Are you sure about that? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Sequoia

Second generation (XK60; 2007)

Toyota unveiled the 2008 Sequoia at the November 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show, with sales beginning that following December. Like the original Sequoia, the new model is based on the new Tundra. However major differences with the Tundra include a fully boxed frame, a rear independent suspension featuring double wishbones with coil springs for improved ride comfort and room, and a locking center differential on 4-wheel drive models. The new suspension helps give the Sequoia a tighter turning radius of 19 ft (5.8 m) and allows for a fold-flat rear seat.[6] Toyota stated the new frame is 70 percent more resistant to bending flex with torsional rigidity up 30 percent.[7] However, the new model weighs 500 lb (227 kg) more than the previous Sequoia. The drag coefficient has been reduced to 0.35.

Looks like they saw the error of their ways and put a solid axle back in the 3rd Gen. I’m surprised Toyota changed that much for a single platform considering they kept leaf springs until a couple years ago on their pickups and still have them on lower trim level 4th gen Tacomas.

I remember your thread on DR.

Soon as you said center console I remembered.

You always posted great pics from Mexico.

Great to see you still at it.
