Mazda was cooking and hit a bigger one that was kicking us a lil wonky and got him out of shape for next couple which he got sideways and did a huge cart wheel and landed facing opposite way. Was wild!!! So lucky as it’s not caged!! He does auto body for a living and has a donor ranger. Drove away like a bat out of hell just he like he came in
This happened at first spot we stopped within first hour of day. Changed the mood for a bit. Best part is he showed back up sitting shotgun in the linked, LS and beam swapped Titan!Only time we I was given bad time in past for it was when a bunch of rental quads were running around while we made passes.
I did get pulled over by ranger less than 500’ from Pier Ave entrance leaving Saturday. I did a little back and forth swervy making sure everything felt ok and he lit me up aggressive as F. Told me he pulled me over for recklessly swerving not staying in my lane (probably going 10-15 mph) and for no rear bumper. I laughed which I think made him made. Said I apologize for the swerve I was just confirming it was ok after using it hard, then asked him why he didn’t like my rear bumper. I think it’s great. Top it off my insurance card I had was expired expired 7/16 and Saturday was the 19th. Called wife on speaker to have her send photo of current card on counter, she was not home
he ended up letting me go with a warning and said to get the bumper situation handled. Then said nice truck, pull over up ahead I’m gonna deal with your friend. Guy for South Bay with 1st gen taco was following me home and cop gave same once over, no bumper and no light cover on his night bar. Got off with a warning.He was lame but didn’t ticket us so cool enough.
Tube bumpers and roll pans in rear are legal I thought
