A storage unit full of engines that nobody knows what to do with

Whatsup dudes. hoping to get a little bit of help here.
Background: about a year ago my uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. It was a death sentence but after a year of countless surgery he is SOMEHOW alive and we think we are past the worst of it. He was a skilled mechanic hobbyist and a parts hoarder like we all are and now we have 15 years worth of project cars and parts that nobody knows what to do with.
He can only answer yes and no questions and cant use his right arm so the family is decided that we are just going to sell everything for pennies on the dollar after they commit to bankrupcy.
What I am looking for from yall is what do you think any of this stuff is worth?
rough inventory is as follows:

• 2 6.5/6.2 (not sure which) diesel engines
• 2 D24 vw I6 diesels
• mercedes OM603
• mercedes OM617
• a few Renault JS8 diesel engines from a jeep cherokee (these things are unicorns, might make a separate thread for these)

All of the engines come with a TON of parts and most with transmissions. turbos, injector pumps, maniforlds, most things you would need to get each running.
Are these worth anything? if we were to list them on ebay, how would we even price these? everything has been kept in storage and out of the elements

If you want to get rid of it all I personally would advertise it locally and let someone come and buy Everything and then they can sell individual motors and parts to make some money and you get your lump sum all at once.
