2026 What's the Plan?

2026 is coming in warm. What's the game plan. Truck wise /Life/ Fitness/whatever.

I'll go first some of this is carry over from last year some new challenges. I'm sure ill come up with some more nonsense but this is what I got for the moment.

4runner:

Rebuild front axle
install Cromo rear axles
fix parking brake
Hydro Assist
Cage
3 link front
swap rear springs
Sort out EGR vacuum lines to delete check engine light
fix door speakers
install Tach
Spare Tire carrier

Mouse

Motor Swap 22re

Install parts I've had chillin in cabinet for a few years
-install short shifter
-prep front end uni balls hiems
-install bluetooth stereo

Trips:
point to point prerunner trip (TBD)
Mojave road with the family
make a few day runs or one nighters to watch desert races with kids
Hammers
Motino Wash
Big Bear
Fordyce/Rubicon
Calico
Colorado
Idaho run with backcountry boys
make it up to Canada to Fernie area with the Canadian boys.
Baja run


MTB
-hit 52 rides (get out atleast once a week)
-100,000 ft of climbing
-1000 miles
-Snow Summit Wheel and Ride - Motino wash/ Rattlesnake canyon to snow summit bike park

Fitness/Life:
Read 10 pages a day
Get down to 190 lbs
Squat/Bench 225lbs
Set up Syn Ice in shop

For me for 2026

TRIPS:
- Ringing in the new year out in California City, same spot we had for Thanksgiving (12-29 to 1-1)
- Glamis for President's day
- would love to spectate a race or 2...That was on my 2025 plan and never happened...
- DESERTFEST at Lazer Town (3-26/3-31)
- Morro Bay for the 4th of july
- SCRR Pismo trip
- Pismo Coast Village for Labor Day
- Off Road Expo with BLGT hopefully!
- Thanksgiving in Cal City
- SCRR toy drive
- Quite a few random weekend trips in between all that with just the fam and the RTT

RAPTOR:
- Much needed tune up (16 spark plugs fml)
- Fabricated rear bumper with cut bedsides
- Side exit exhaust
- Service coilovers
- Mid flap kit installed
- Intercom and headsets
- Get rid of the SYNC 1 and add a new updated screen
- other BS im sure

ME:
- I really want to get back into making videos for my YouTube channel
- Hopefully do a BLGT podcast some day!?
- Tons more shock work (it pays for the fun truck stuff)
- Get helthier

Mexico in March
Short Course in August
Mexico in November for the 1000 (likely wont happen, but the thought is nice)

Personal:
Paydown some debt
Acquire more debt (buying a house)
Eat a little healthier, lose a bit of weight
Spend less time at work (don't see it happening)

RANGER
Finish building the 4.0 sitting in the garage
Install said motor
More shock tuning
Make the truck overall faster
Try to get the truck on the podium

F100
decide wither to build a 351 or 460
Build the motor
Build a new trans
Install above junk
Figure out if I want leafs or links
Put better seats in
Install the new stereo thats been sitting for months on a shelf
Enjoy it?

BOAT
Pull the motor and freshen it up
New carpet
redo back seat covers
add another amp and more speakers
wet sand and buff the whole thing

PERSONALLY
Lose some weight
Eat better/less
Pay off some more debt
Look for a new house with a shop
Spend less time working on stuff
Take the wife out more

Hell yea boys keep them coming! it seems stupid but you will be shocked how much shit you can accomplish if you set the goals and aim at them.
Even if you don't want to publicly make a list for everyone to see... get a piece of paper or a yellow pad or hell even on the notes app on your phone. When you complete the task cross it off the list and move on to the next one.

Personal

- loose 15-20 lbs
- 60 pull ups a week- (I would like to be able to do 15 in one shot)
- Pass the CA. wastewater 5 test
- Pass the CA. water distribution 5 test
- Keep RIZZIN the wife up
- Buy a gooseneck flat bed (unlikely )
- investigate if there is a demand on Only Fans for; over weight, receding hair lined, dad bods. (If so, open an account)

Family

⁃ national park trip (Channel Islands)
⁃ More camping trips
⁃ Grow Twice as many pumpkins as last year / Build pumpkin arch tunnel
⁃ Keep doing husband and dad stuff
⁃ Stop the boys from drinking bath water

Bronco

⁃ Put some real desert miles on it
⁃ Bumper light rack
⁃ 2026 off-road expo
⁃ Local BLGT desert meet up
⁃ Get the AC hooked up
⁃ New tires
⁃ Bunch of other stuff lol

Cars/Truck:
Sierra 1500 (Roci)

• Install new front seats and center console.
• Regear the Front Diff
• Build and install the new to me 9.5" 14-bolt rear Axle
• Buy and install 37" Tires
• mount and wire my new LED Whip.
• Add and wire rock lights.
• Bed-line the bed
• Buy and install a jack and an extra fluid holder
• Add more efficient storage for tools and trail gear.
• fix misc issues
• Go Off-Roading!!!!

Sierra 1500HD (Tow rig)

• Rebuild the brake system.
• install new transmission lines
• fix the 4wd system
• Tow stuff

Equinox( DD):

• drive it

Jeep Liberty (GF's DD):

• Continue to maintain it or make it disappear.

General:

• Buy a 102"x22' drive-over fender 10K or 14K trailer

MTB:

• go riding more.

Snowmobiles:
'01 MXZ 700

• Fix the steering
• Perform a lot of delayed maintenance
• Go ripping through the snowy backwoods trails of Michigan (200 miles this season already)

'96 Touring E

• Continue to sort it out ( I broke down on the first trail ride and had to get towed back)
• Go ripping through the snowy backwoods trails of Michigan

Trailer:

• Fix the slush guard
• make the wiring nicer

Personal:

• Spend more time with the Girlfriend
• Continue to lose weight (lost 25lbs last year)
• Read more
• Pay off more debt.
• Go camping more.

Trips:

• PreRunner Invasion
• Midwest DirtFest
• the Night Run
• Maybe a Raptor runs across the state
• Northern LP Snowmobile trips.

Man, I have a lot of plans for this year, and I'm expecting that work will keep me busy this year. I fully expect not everything on this list to be completed.

Jeep Liberty (GF's DD):

• Continue to maintain it or make it disappear

Someone ran in to head on and totaled it while my GF driving today. She broke her wrist and is recovering.

Michigan is a no-fault state, and we haven't really started any things, there will be a workman's comp claim as she was driving to the bank to do a cash drop for her store(she is a pet store manager). Supposedly, the other driver was having a seizure.
