Heck yeah E!

For myself...Hoping to stay focused on shock work and keep motivation on truck work. 2025 is going to be BUSY.

Trucks:

-Get my 80s Dodge daily driver friendly again so i dont have to rack so many miles on the Raptor. End goal is to have a clean "around town" truck, hopefully with AC.
-Keep cracking away little things on the Raptor. Some sort of bed rack with RTT. More preventive maintenance, possibly 37s, more prelander gear.

Trips (in no specific order):

-Dezertfest Lasertown in April
-Dad/kids trip (if one comes up that works for us)
-Jawbone To Lake Isabella
-Elkhorn Road (one day or over night trip, not sure yet)
-Spectate a race or 2! (this one is high on my list. its been a couple of years)
-Big Visalia to SD camping trip with my family in June (KOA camping, Zoo, LegoLand, Sea World...)
-Random Cal City trips
-Clean ups

And lets all pray for low gas prices....

Turboyota:

1. Collect more parts for spindle/upright remake with bolt-on snouts. I grow weary of welding cracks in my snouts every other trip.
2. OEM-style coolant reservoir. Amazon reservoir is bullshit.

IvanTacoma:

1. Total Chaos LT install (this might be complete before 2025)
2. Link rear. Have all parts in-hand.
3. Regear front diff to 4.88
4. Buy doublecab bedsides from Advanced Fiberglass
5. Buy supercharger
6. Buy front 2.5x8” bypasses

Racetruck:

1. Cut it up/part it out/sell it

Trips:
January: Anza borrego
February: Mojave trail to Laughlin to Parker
March: AZPT
April: adelanto to randsburg to jawbone to lake Isabella
May: mammoth/Owens River valley
September: Grand Canyon North Rim

Me:
-try and stay healthy
-run a marathon
-do more camping trips with family
-do more off-road trips
-don't take work home
-go to a BLGT event

Pissnoma:
-finish SAS
-tune suspension and try to talk myself out of upgrading it
-Rubicon with family/friends
-pray things don't break
-some sort of minimally invasive cage install

864x4maplebartrustyrusty:
-prep for Hammers
-tune carb better
-reservoir adjusters on front
-ignore various leaks
-register in Montana
-install Prius electric power steering
-install adjustable seats
- hit 300k on og motor

Nothing too interesting.

New Falken Wildpeaks and some Baja Designs amber ditch lights for the ZR2.

Short Course and Rally events in the Upper Peninsula, likely with some for forest service road exploring thrown in.

The linked 1st Gen 4Runner isn't in the cards this year.

I honestly just want a very low key 2025, with less work stress, more enjoyment and no new health issues.

Most importantly try to work less, I have some control over this and am going to make a big effort to not be there as much.

Rusty Red….. more refining and adding little things. I need to re-valve the rear shocks to make them a little softer. At some point I’ll rip the dash out again and tie the interior cage into an engine cage. That’s really the last bit of fabrication it needs. Maybe it get painted, but that’s a big goal.

Hammers 2025 like usual and hopefully a few other trips with @Turboyota @the bodj @dwphoto @4lowlance @WW_RANGER_X @Motiracer38 @dose and the rest of the gang.

My plan is to finish the SAS Sequoia and get some miles in. I want to get the kids out and see the sights that I've been enjoying. I also need to learn how to go slow.

Prerunner needs to be finished up I suppose.

Oldest son turns 15 so I need to get his Ranger working and reliable. Anybody have a running 3.0 motor lately around?

Destinations I want to see:
North Rim
Rincon
Oregon Dunes
Yosemite
El Camino Del Diablo trail
Sand Hollow again to camp on the sand

Great thread. I need to figure out the family friendly spring Prelander trip.

April got so busy I think the AZ Peace Trail dream is dead for 2025 unless it happens in the fall.

Prep Britney to pre run 1-2 desert races.
KOH or February at Parker AZ I’ll be Co- driving in a 5 unlimited buggy

April 4-6 DesertFest at LazerTown
Easter, 2 birthdays and Point Mugu Los Padres trail maintenance will fill out April for me.

May week long business leadership summit in Denver CO should be fun

Between Jan and March I need to prep my wife’s XJ for a summer rubicon trip. I finally talked her into doing a real 3 day rubicon trip with us and both kids all crammed in her XJ. (Long arms, 5.13s locked, 35s, deavers ect)

Rubicon early in the season pending snow pack. This will be a first for me.

September 2025 I’m doing the AlCan5000 rally again with a buddy in his 2001 Volvo V70R, 5 cyl turbo wagon. That’s a 3 week 10,000 mile trip.

Point Mugu 4WD club will do a Fright Night poker run at the end of October for 2025.

As I type this out, looks like early May or all of June is empty. @WW_RANGER_X where is a good place for a pre lander trip in May? Maybe we do Jawbone to Isabella in May?
