From the day I bought it to now, didn’t originally intend on racing at all. Was only planning on family rides, and overnighters. 😅😅
@84projectFORD tried talking me out of it but as usual I didn’t listen. So a few hundred beers, and a couple dollars later we are here.

hell yea... We thank you for your golf cart chop you have added to the desert!

I'm sure this thing is a blast to drive...I've only had the pleasure of riding in one of these CAN AMs for a few mins up Olds in Glamis.

You are very welcome, I really enjoy hearing the truck guys complain about it on the radio though. lol

Definitely a blast, passed a few 10 cars in the Desert Challenge at KOH so they are pretty capable with the right setup.

Midget nate is the definition of an Ask-hole... glad to call him a friend :ROFLMAO:

also, he could have a really fucking sweet prerunner at this point for what that golf cart has in it now
yeah we have surpassed "nice prerunner" and are headed for newer compeitive class 10 ballpark now.

All good until we've gotta hop on the road... We're not in AZ anymore....
If I didnt live in the state where we can go anywhere right from the driveway I would have built a nice 4runner, or something along those lines. Shit, who knows maybe I still will. If James keeps inviting us on summer rides the wife will jump on that in a hurry. haha

i dunno, i take you and the wife on another June run and that might be your next build

Frame decided to show some pretty good cracks before KOH so I decided to put my very green welding skills to the test with some new overlays. Held up for a 5th place finish and no signs of any new cracks up front. Pretty surprised it took this long (8,000) miles on it now. DD734601-8D87-4ED2-9FDF-AEE9FE1529A6.jpeg

Also swapped all the cv axles over to the new S3 Titan X axles after losing 2 stock ones and 1 all balls at KOH. Props to that all balls for not exiting the chat at 88mph on the last lakebed. There were zero ball bearings left and the second i loosened the hub it fell apart. lol

Been there with cracked frames, welding in gusset kits are the only way to go. All those rivets sucks to drill out. Did my 4 seater over the summer time. Supposedly the 2022 and new frames have thicker material and are stronger now.

Agreed, I waited way too long on this one. but glad it made it that long lol left room for other upgrades along the way.

Just picked up this sweet roof rack. Should have enough room to bring both the kids on the 2-4 day rides now.

whens the next trip or race ?
Well I think we are gonna go test out the roof rack end of the month for a 2-3 day ride.
As far as racing goes I briefly contemplated running the DP4 Bartow race at the end of May. If we dont wind up running that then we are for sure Racing Cali 300 in October. Pretty excited for that one. I feel like we left a lot on the table at KOH, and itll be cool to see where we stack up with a little more experience under our belts.
