Beam Design looks good. Most don't run the bottom plate they just have the tube be the bottom of the beam but they way you have it will be strong just a little extra welding, but you can use that to wrap the lower uniball better so that's a win.

Yeah that was pretty much my plan, I’m going to add some slots to the bottom plate and then wrap the uniball with the bottom plate

Nüe to the forum but I built a 1974 LuVRunneR
probably need to learn to make a post on it but since parts were / are limited with LUV’s I decided to chassis swap it on top of a 87’ 4Runner since the wheel base is hella close
