    1994 Explorer Family Adventure Maker

Not for me, but I have 33x10.50r15's on my 92 with 4.56 gears and a manual transmission. It's delightfully torquey!

    1994 Explorer Family Adventure Maker

Great tire! That's what I have on my 92. On one of my old explorers, I had a 31x10.50r15 on stock wheels and it would just graze the rear fender lip at full bump with the bump stops removed. The 33's rub a but when getting spicy but nothing to worry about... yet! Good job on the car...

    What to pack? Tips-tricks

I totally get that and used to pack that way. I've been saved by a friend that carries common spares so that he can help other people, not only his own mechanical breakdowns. I appreciated it so much that I do the same... a few extra tools and more complete sizes so I can help others in a...

    What to pack? Tips-tricks

The Nalgene bottles I use are fantastic. I have yet to hurt one and they pack well in the Front Runner boxes

    What to pack? Tips-tricks

I carry automotive fluids in a Front Runner box. I also have a modified box that holds about 7 gallons of water... that one is only packed for long trips with lots of "off-grid" time. The trick for keeping it from not becoming a shit show is to give everything a home. Otherwise, things just...

    Fridges and battery supply

Adding, now that I read your entire post, ha! All the car fridges I’ve used have low-voltage cut-off. Make sure that’s active, cool the fridge (and contents) on AC power before setting off on your trip and you’ll probably be good. Also keep the fridge full so it stays colder longer without...

    Fridges and battery supply

In the Bronco, I run two big Full Throttle batteries… great set up with lots of power. I’ve abused the hell out of them with great results. For a long road trip in the Camaro (will also use in the Explorer), I recently bought a small Bluetti battery pack. The fridge is powered by the Bluetti...

    LAB2V 2024

Agreed. Looks like a damn good time. I’ve been thinking about putting together a group of TW200 riders to do it. I have no idea what level rider I am. D? On an F or G bike? 😂 But I sure do like to have a good time! Haha
