Got the motor 90% of the way mounted. Going to drill an access hole at the bottom of frame rails so i can fasten the motor mounts to frame instead of welding them on. Thinking of doing a "washer" plate around the openings so i can leave the opening in place

Swapping spares isnt really something most people do that often so i think spending a little more time to swap a tire isnt a deal breaker if it means cleaner finished product

Update: Got correct motor mounts! Started chopping off old mounts (the fasteners arent accesible anymore because the frame is plated at the old openings). Planning to tack new mounts in place and place motor over the weekend. After motor is in place, was going to weld them in. Or would it be...

Noticed this evening that I got the wrong motor mounts :/ these are for 92-97 rangers and I need the 98+ coil sprung motor mounts. Does anyone have the 98+ 4.0 mounts and would sell or possible trade for these?
