Yeah, I’m guessing all the above. Probably slowly gather parts for a good deal and made them work. I love it. That’s my style. I bet they have just as much fun as big budget builds.

Question for the shock experts out there. What’s the benefit to mounting the bypass like that, besides packaging? I get it, it’ll “soften” it up but, couldn’t you just tune it to do the same thing mounted straight off the axle? Is it just an old concept because shocks technology wasn’t there yet?

It had to be a leaf spring only race class right? Cause there’s no way this was cheaper/better than a simple link setup. Just a bunch of left over parts maybe? Pretty cool tho. 🤘

Does it have fuel pressure or spark? Did you remove the distributor at one point?

Same. @DialedShockPrep had mine pretty tits on the base tune then; I saw PBtaco, I think on DR?, rip with the same front end, motor and thought to myself. Never again. Haha

Sweet. I had this idea for a leaf sprung setup, off the shackle. Was worried tho that it be to much for the main leaf. Then I remember I don’t want leafs anymore and going this route or a “short course” link setup. Looks great!

Are you doing a sway bar between the hubs?

Yeah, I wouldn’t go past the frame like did. Just up to it. Because any crawling, your going to snag/damage the bed. Stoke to see you clean it up and fix whatever the rock donkey fabricator mess up!

Yup, and the mounts are different. I’ve tried to order a new one online twice and both times the order canceled. 🤷
