King prerunner series 14" travel coil over shocks. Got these on a trade deal so don't have a ton of specifics like valving. But they are remote resi, 14" travel approx 31" extended length so I think +2 rod ends. Would work for the back of a linked truck well or if you swap rod ends (i think i...
I would have agreed with you when I built this but the dually AAM 11.5 axle is 670lbs with brakes and fluid. It keeps mule kicking even after 300lbs of ballast, and a couple of re valves.. The front works so well and I really want the back to keep up. The 9" is also just more fun to add link...
Little update. Got the new engine installed, runs awesome. Designed a rear track bar link kit with 12" shocks. Going to cut all the cantilever/ leaf stuff off. Works ok but lots of chassis flex with this long of a truck and no cage and the 14 bolt is too heavy so building an 8 lug 9" axle.
73.375" wms to wms. LSK 5x5.5 hubs. Hubs missing seals and some bolts but work great I have all the part numbers you'll need. Ruffsfuff housing truss was cut short for mockup and welded at an odd angle. Recommend cutting truss off and starting over. Tabbed for a 4 link. Was going under my...
Little update. Got it back from paint and built a clean little front bumper/ skid. Also building a new lq4 with lq9 pistons, cam. ring gapped, studded, ls9 head gaskets and rocker arm trunnion kit for some potential supercharger action.
Honestly there are a few ways to do this. But this is how Aaron (who made these videos) likes to do it typically. I do it a little different but we all end up at the same end point eventually.
We put together a video series on how we draw tube and plate structures at LSK/ CalWest if anyone is interested check it out. https://calwestmfg.com/learn
Thanks! Strapped at 17" I don't have any pictures of CV clearance but it all cleared fine. Truck is at paint right now so should have some updated pictures in a couple of weeks
First trip out had typical teething problems but was a ton of fun. Blew the return line off the steering box and the tail lights fell out. Waiting for front axles to get here from RCV, I bought a 14 bolt out of a dually to get the rear the correct width without spacers and added 4:88 gears and a...
Got the glass, bumper on to do initial trimming. If anybody has any tricks on getting fiberglass cut lines strait Id gladly accept them. Also got my Bronco back from Richer racing. Those guys are awesome.
