Tearing the interior down to repair floor pan rust and add back in a dash, trim carpet and all that stuff. Anyone have experience with LMC truck’s stuff? Their catalog system just seemed the easiest for all the large variety of stuff I’ve gotta order up. Any other brands out there I should go...
Old harness out, starting in on modifying the new one to mate up well with the LS and transferring a few plugs that you can’t buy new remade ones of. It’ll be nice to not have old glass fuses anymore.
Original wiring was very questionable and I wanted to get rid of the crappy cheap Amazon light harnesses so I ordered a painless wiring harness after a short in the taillight harness melted part of the main harness wall plug behind the fuse box together into a clump.
Found a good deal on a TC 3.25 kit with spindles and locking hubs and whatnot. These just use like a sway away torsion bar and a 2.5x8” shock right? I’d be installing the kit on my DD and my only alternative is a sidekick with no top and a max speed of 50ish so I don’t really wanna build a shock...
Not sure about threat motorsports but majority of Companies out there with beam kits like that for 2wd will still use a 4x4 d44 knuckle so you shouldn't need to ream the beam ends. putting d35 hubs on fabricated beams wouldn't be worth it
This is the best I have all 4 were up on rock when it happened I spun for a sec but not nearly enough to warrant the hubs going. I’ve driven d35 jeeps on 33s harder than this for sure
I think for the cost of parts I might just go ahead and do a d44 swap at that point I wanted to keep this thing more sleeper style but just finding a set of beams and a rear end outta a f150/bronco and doing that seems more reasonable if the fronts going 5x5.5
