This is the best I have all 4 were up on rock when it happened I spun for a sec but not nearly enough to warrant the hubs going. I’ve driven d35 jeeps on 33s harder than this for sure
I think for the cost of parts I might just go ahead and do a d44 swap at that point I wanted to keep this thing more sleeper style but just finding a set of beams and a rear end outta a f150/bronco and doing that seems more reasonable if the fronts going 5x5.5
Okay took the exploder on a trail it had zero business doing stock and blew up the stock front hubs in a place I never would’ve expected even a d35 to fail. Anyone on here have a suggestion for what’s best to run? Is switching to a better set of manual hubs gonna be much stronger? I’ll...
Yeah just driving something this old around my area in particular is hilarious there’s not much older than like the 90s on the road and especially not old trucks
Not much really to say here but found this 93 with just barely 200k on the clock for way to good of a deal to pass up. Plan is the standard formula with 4” coils and a 2.5” smoothie up front maybe coilovers if I get crazy. So far I have a set of raptor 3.0 takeoffs for the back and a set of 4”...
Immediately after wiring the new dash, sent a 5-6ish hour roadtrip SB-Sequoias. Alternator ground somehow came loose at the very end but no issues otherwise. 12-17mpg all the way was nuts loaded down. Little sister gave me a tow mater figure for the dash “in case you break down”
Finished the rear end swap (SF 14bolt out of a 1500hd), got crossover steering done and all the stuff and things inbetween. New brake master cylinder and booster too. Littlest sister helped bleed the brakes and finish up all the smaller finishing touches going through the new rear end.
no idea whose truck but high desert motorsports had a taco on their ig page with stock width uppers and lowers with hydro bump and ext travel shock that worked super well. I pulled about same rear travel as a standard 3.5” LT kit would with my osr and 12” shock setup on my 4runner though.
