    Project 69

Seeing and working on all these buggies/rails makes me want to build my own..........If only the transaxles weren't so damn expensive.

    Let’s talk tires

I have the nitto recon grapplers on my sierra, they have good traction and are quiet. I also like the yokohama geolanders, for an E rated tire those things ride reallllly nice, I can live with the increase in road noise on the diesel.

    Save the hammers round 2

The ever so slippery slope of the government taking away access to public land........

FINALLY finished this thing, it was an unbelievable pain in the ass getting this hood to function properly, this is hood number 5, the first 3 were aluminum and I couldn't get it to not warp (dont have a bead roller or english wheel) so I swapped to steel and got it in 2 tries, the first steel...

Tips for making sure my rzr is dialed for the season

Yeah, one thing I've realized over the years and having to use my truck to recover broken stuff, AZ trails definitely do not favor full size rigs, my jeep does ok, its just slow and rides like a brick, hence the reason I'm designing a new chassis and suspension for it.

Tips for making sure my rzr is dialed for the season

The duality of being too broke to build a truck, but having enough money to build a SxS.........In reality, I could build my 07c Sierra for what I can sell my XP for since I'm building my own LT kit, leaf spring setup and get dealer discounts on parts, but then I lose my work truck, and I refuse...

    Cinders Takeover 2025 (September 26-28)

I'm pretty much locked in at this point, now I just need to either get my golf cart put back together, or get a jetting kit for my KX. I'll have a couple others with me as well.

    3D Print Chat

I tried blender when I first started CAD/3D Printing, I hated it so much, eventually I got turned on to Fusion (still using). Blender is better for building and modifying mesh layouts, where fusion is more "engineering focused" I guess you could say? Its a full design to production suite...

Tips for making sure my rzr is dialed for the season

I need this sticker to put on my XP Turbo, or maybe just have it transformed into a full wrap......

Tips for making sure my rzr is dialed for the season

This - prepping a SxS is pretty much the same as a truck, just smaller. Check the heim/spherical bearings in the trailing arms and radius rods, bushings in the front, shock eyelet bearings, make sure the shocks arent blown up. Although, a cage would be #1 on my list as far as mods go, those XP1k...

    Part Search

Best bet would probably be LMC truck, you could also probably find a used one on ebay, or NOS on rock auto.

    WHAT BATTERY TO GET?!?!?!

Lithium (NOCO, etc) is where its at, pricey though. That being said, all my stuff has SLA because I'm cheap and own too many things with engines and wheels.....AGM (Odyssey?, etc.) would probably be the least I would put in an offroad truck/car though since the last thing I want is battery acid...

Zona motorsports race kit 05 silverado

I assume its both, most designers (myself included) move the upper arm mounts to smooth out the camber curve on these trucks. The chassis and control arm are also different (to my knowledge, I haven't dug into a GMT900 yet). I agree its going to be the best route to get the proper 99-06 GMT800...

99-06 GMT800 4x4 +6/+1.5 LT Kit I've been working on this one for awhile, trying to get it finished up, just need to design the shock/bumpstop mounts and the upper arm.
