Zona motorsports race kit 05 silverado

Doesn't that kit come with upper arm mounts integrated into the shock tower? That's what their website shows at least, if it does, use those mounts and don't move it, if you move it to the top of the frame you will certainly eliminate the instant center and get a ton of bump steer as a result...

    2025! What's the Plan?

If you already have a bypass, why not just do a "crew cab" style lower link? Its somewhat similar to a short course setup in that the shocks are closer to the axle, but its still a more typical desert truck trailing arm, then all you have to do is get the coilover.

eh, probably not, design the engine cage properly and that should be more than enough, I don't think I've ever seen anyone plate a factory x-member anyway.

3D .stp / cad / .sldwrks part files???

Occasionally I'll come across some stuff on grab-cad, but that's usually just kind of more generalized reverse engineered parts and pieces, I rarely find any vehicle specific stuff that's useable. There's a couple other sites out there that have decent models as well, but the same issue as...

    Fiberglass repair

My experience with drift car people is they always want everything done as cheap as possible and subsequently, low quality, I assume because they crash their cars every 5 minutes because a lot of them can't actually drive, or at least my nephew can't.............

    The Grand Tracker (Retard TT)

Spal Fans are the way, especially if space is a concern and budget isn't (they are a bit pricey as far as fans go) I have 'em on both my jeep and my c10 and never had issues with either overheating, I don't even have a shroud on the jeep either.

Just about wrapped up with the first phase on this sandcar, the welds on these arms are undoubtedly the nicest ones I've ever thrown down so I'm quite happy with them. Passed quality control Old arms vs the new ones, obviously these class 10 style arms are way overkill but they should never...

    what welder should i get?

The roller size (and wire size) should be interchangeable so it isn't of the utmost importance, .035 is what I run typically but you should be able to run down to .030 and weld 1/4in material just fine; which tends to be the thickest most people in this industry use. The real difference between...

I've been cranking out quite a few jobs the last few weeks, between rebuilding parts of the sand demon, caging RadoNoah's Silverado, and also sneaking in a DRT cab mount relocation between the two. Brought me the truck pretty much fully stripped which saved a lot of time, although I had plenty...

    Are you a manufacturer fanatic?

I'm a GM guy through and through even my jeep has a GM engine, although I seem to work on mostly tacomas for some reason, most of my R&D has been put into one of my two personal trucks, although I recently got a 2nd Gen tacoma to work with from a close friend of mine, I also should be getting an...

    what welder should i get?

I've been running the a lincoln 215 for the last decade-ish, only thing its ever needed was a main switch and I'm pretty sure the thing is almost as old as I am. That being said miller is the same quality-wise, I've also had good luck with the couple primeweld machines (tig and plasma cutter) I...
