The upper control arm is a uniball at the upright, the lower is currently a balljoint due to clearance issues on the stock spindle, I do want to experiment and see if I can get around those clearance issues though.

I'm actually working on trying to 3D print the arms before I cut them on the plasma table since the fitment is pretty tight on the bypass, but I'm pretty sure its going to work out, however I've got two more ideas if it doesn't fit.

Just a standard poly or delrin bushing for now, I may offer a heim joint upper later on once I go through testing and see if this kit is viable as a good product.

I've been working on this "+2" kit for the GMT800 4WD platform. It actually measures out to 1.875ish inches. Why? Because the GMT900 axles are 1.875 inches longer than the GMT800's and they bolt right in. I'm not a huge fan of the shock towers and will probably end up redesigning them...

    1970 CJ5 4800 Style Build (Skeleton Crew)

Got the central bulkhead pretty much figured out after redesigning it a half dozen times. I'll most likely add more bracing in the upper link mounts by just adding some cross tubes between the pivots, but this bulkhead is entirely overbuilt, I don't want to have to redo any of this later down...

    Off road industry drama

It takes a lot of effort to be that bad.

    1970 CJ5 4800 Style Build (Skeleton Crew)

Finally started working on this thing again - Once again booted the idea of using the stock frame, I'm going to bite the bullet and do a tube chassis. Initially had it set at 105in wheelbase, now it sits at 116, I'm working on V2 of the lower "bulkhead" since I moved the wheelbase around to be...

That makes the 100 bucks I paid for my 250cf tank exchange feel a lot better.......That being said it does seem like the price for gas has tripled in the last 5ish years.

I routinely feel this walking past my jeep every day, especially now that I need to pull the drivetrain to put in the newly acquired willys truck.....I really should stop getting more projects.....

    Leaf Spring Technical Documentation

Yeah, it took me about 5 hours to write this document and get it even to this level of refinement so I know its long and pretty in depth in sections. I also know that a lot of people just use the method of "fuck with it until it works" for leaf springs. I mainly wrote this to reference back to...

I'm gonna be an Upper Arm Bro-runner Guy now. UCA's for the 2g-3g Tacoma and the 99-06 GM 1500 Trucks Silverado and GMC. Both use 1in Uniballs, pretty standard poly bushing arm. Already verified the geometry on these so I pretty much just need to order parts and build em to get them on the website.

    9. Shackle Angle - Progressive vs. Digressive The shackle angle plays a critical role in determining the effective rate of the suspension — that is, how the spring’s actual force curve translates into wheel rate as the geometry changes through travel. As the shackle angle shifts relative to...

    5. Shackle Hanger Location Overview: Shackle hanger location is largely application-specific and depends on both spring geometry and suspension travel goals. The correct location ensures full bump and droop travel without binding, interference, or inversion while maintaining consistent rate...
