Doesn't that kit come with upper arm mounts integrated into the shock tower? That's what their website shows at least, if it does, use those mounts and don't move it, if you move it to the top of the frame you will certainly eliminate the instant center and get a ton of bump steer as a result...

If you already have a bypass, why not just do a "crew cab" style lower link? Its somewhat similar to a short course setup in that the shocks are closer to the axle, but its still a more typical desert truck trailing arm, then all you have to do is get the coilover.

My experience with drift car people is they always want everything done as cheap as possible and subsequently, low quality, I assume because they crash their cars every 5 minutes because a lot of them can't actually drive, or at least my nephew can't.............

Spal Fans are the way, especially if space is a concern and budget isn't (they are a bit pricey as far as fans go) I have 'em on both my jeep and my c10 and never had issues with either overheating, I don't even have a shroud on the jeep either.
