I agree with keeping a-arms because of the existing swing set setup. Never seen anyone run a 10” or 12” stroke shock with any of the mid-travel kit arms, would be interesting.
That said if you do decide on beams and need to unload some of those swing set steering parts, send me a DM lol.
Have you looked at Blitzkrieg? They have a 4x4 kit that uses 10” stroke shocks on their website anyway, no idea if it’s still in production but still might be worth giving them a call.

So I have a little off road time with this thing, genuinely surprised how well the rear felt right off the bat. I knew the front was gonna be a ways off not starting with dirt king’s spec coilovers, just has some off the shelf standard 2.5x8 kings right now. I’m open to opinions on trying to...
Progress on the rear suspension, new coils and limit straps are in. Decided on fabricating lower links and an adjustable panhard bar once that’s done the rear should be finished.
Got bored waiting for some parts to come in for the ol ram 2500 while it was on the lift. Grabbed some tubes out of scrap pile and made some extra structure for the long arm brackets.
Got the rear shock mounts cut off and started mocking up some taller mounts for the bypasses.
Fenders showed up the other day as well. Haven’t really had time to fuck that project up yet though.
Had a skid plate cut for the front bumper, got the tabs squared away then got some paint on it.
Now I’m waiting on fiberglass for the front, in the meantime I need make a decision on the rear suspension and get started back there.
A couple more thoughts I had going forward.
I’ve never tried to mount my own fiberglass before so that’s bound to be a complete disaster. The inner fender structure I’m sure is still tweaked up, the core support took some massaging to get in.
It’s sitting on 33” toyo m/t’s and some kind of...
Building something off such a retarded platform presents some issues.
The Escalade ESV is full time AWD, I suspect this thing will eat up CVs like it’s fuckin cool. Probably will strap it an inch or two higher than what guys normally run on these kits and see where that gets me. If it turns...
