Work was discarding 3" square tubing, so i took it home. Ive been wanting a multipurposeful utility trailer, so decided id build one. Im building it as a 5' x 7' with an A frame tounge. It'll be a single axle.
Went out to Johnson Valley/Soggy Dry Lakebed for a Saturday weekend with friends.
Came across a Sequoia with a sheared ball joint. They had it under control, so we proceeded on. Went to the dunes at night, and on the way back to camp, managed to get stuck in mud. Got pulled out and got caked in...
Finally had time to do the ChaosFab lower uniball conversion. Ditched the lower ball joints.
Id seen some Tacomas, Tundras and Sequoias (one which rolled) on the side or middle of the road due to ball joint failure. With that, i also replaced inner and outer tie rods. Ganna play with alignment today
Went up to Lake Cachuma for a four day weekend. We got a site at the waters edge, made for great views while cooking. Mornings were great, being up by 5 to brew coffee and enjoy the chilly and foggy quietness.
