Not mine. Something I saw on Facebook. But I assume they drilled it out for it.
My kid is going to try and find some weights this weekend.
Unfortunately he still has 15 inch wheels. So the heaviest weight he can get to fit inside a 15 inch wheel is a 35 lbs weight.
The 45 lbs weights are 16...
Any else see this going around. They added to 45 lbs weights to a wheel spacer and bolted them inside the spare tire rim.
Only reason my kid runs two spares is for the weight with the new Link Killer kit.
Might have to do this. One spare with the weight of 2 spares.
My kid has been running the pack outs for years. One big tub, then one thinner one with dividers full of tools on top of it. The he has the 2 small coolers. One for drinks and one for food. Down fall of the coolers. Don't put sodas in there with very little ice. Everyone he opened exploded on...
He really wants to do a race front kit so he can get a bypass shock up front. But that mean the front engine cage would have to be redone. And he plans to V8 the truck. Which would also mean the front cage would have to be redone.
But now he realizes that he can probably beam the front for the...
Part 3 .
Now it 2024 - 2025.
Now we see there is a reoccurring trend that every 2 years the truck goes to Mikey and Jesse at the @the_fablab_
This time it was for:
Solo Motorsports full cage tied to the bed cage.
PRP seats
Sidewinder gated shifter
Camburg 3.5 fabricated rear axle thats 6 inches...
OK. Build thread is going. I just need to get some current pics with the full cage, Camburg rear end and Link Killer kit. . I will up date it this weekend. Hopefully the truck is ok to be in your booth. Its nothing crazy, but does show it can be achieved by a kid saving his money. Took my kid...
Starting a little build/spec list of my kids 04 Ranger Prerunner. Putting this together for the BLGT Off Road Expo booth. Hopefully you all thinks its good enough to put in the booth.
So its an 2004 Ranger XLT with the awesome 3.0
The day he got the Ranger in 2016. Rocking an RCD lift with...
This is exactly my kid. Had the Ranger since he was 16 and he's 25 now. He built it as the funds came in. So it seems like every 2 years was the next phase of improvement on it. Hope you all don't mind though that he's still part of the unpainted white fender club.
Talked to my kid.
Go ahead and mark us Confirmed. He's excited to be part of this. I will dig up some pics and do a spec sheet / build thread for him, hopefully by next week.
Sadly we don't have many actual build pics over the 9 years it took him to get to this point with it.
I will confirm with you by tomorrow or Saturday morning. Just need to talk to my kid to see if he's still serious and where he's at getting a trailer built. I think it should have it by then.
If its not done, I'm not sure if he's down to drive the 2 hours plus in the Ranger with 2 year old...
My kid is in the same situation. Would like to bring his ranger there. Would be a good advertisement for the Fablab though seeing Mikey built most of the truck.
Do you know if there is room at the Expo for truck and trailer parking?
