Im in. I talked my dad into cruising with me.
I’ll trailer my truck down Friday and drop off. Then come back Sunday AM and hang for the day with my dad. @the bodj if you want a ride back to Simi/morpark Friday and a ride down Sunday LMK. Or anyone else, I’ll have room for 4.
I’m 70% in.
Elliot I’ll work to get a straight answer by Monday.
I would probably drop the truck Friday, take the trailer home late Friday, maybe with @the bodj
Then come back Sunday to do the show, hang and pickup the truck.
I’ve got some activities with the kids Saturday, otherwise...
I’m considering coming and bringing Brittany. Do you guys have any plans other than the show while down there? I’m thinking that many hours at the show might be a little boring, and one more weekend away from the wife.
As always, try to mix business with pleasure, maybe I’ll hang at the show...
Fits a twin mattress and has a real jeep CJ tailgate that opens. @Endless Trails built it for his son till he out grew, Now my son Walker has outgrown. I really want this to go to an enthusiast in the community and not FB marketplace.
Comes with the 35” tire/wheel. Very cool for a youngster...
Saturday and Sunday I’m light on pics.
We came back down the canyon, we let the sons drive a bit on the graded road back to Ballarat. Some drunk on a stool at Ballarat told me my truck would be cooler with an LS in it….go figure 😂🫡
25 miles back up the pavement Saturday morning to Panamint...
Friday night the kids got rowdy, it warmed my heart. We finally put an end to the kids fun at 11:30PM when we all turned in.
This pic turned out great,
Fire pit down on the valley floor, and a fire pit on the patio deck
Smiles and good times all around.
Ok, I’m home, unloaded and exhausted.
Trip report:
Walker and I left home at 3pm Thursday with Jordan and Jaxon.
I had barely met Jordan before. His son Jaxon and my son Walker are friend at school and I knew Jordan had a newer jeep on 35s.
I texted him an invite weeks ago with minimal...
I’m here with my dad, Brian and I brought another friend in a jeep.
The cabin is cozy and doesn’t sleep very many people. Canyon is steep and rocky and we have to spread out a bit to find flat places to sleep.
Weather is good though
Ok my dad just got there in his raptor. (2:30pm Thursday)
Big cabin is taken, the stone cabin is ours. Sleeps 6 and room to tent camp around it.
So we are good to go.
Also if it’s raining and cold, the deck at brigs looking down the canyon with a steel roof is probably a nice place to be.
