    03' 4Runner V8 - "Pearl" The Prerunner Poser

The old was plastic also. The plastic was so old it turned off white and was starting to flake and tear at the upper neck. It was WAY past due. Kind of sad I was that negligible lol.

    03' 4Runner V8 - "Pearl" The Prerunner Poser

Bought a Corbeau A4 on their discount page w a shaved base. Needed to replace the old drivers side. After a couple hundred test miles the shaved base was cutting off blood flow, so I took the old base and transfered the new cover which was still cut to full spec. Turned out alright. Old vs New...

T100 neglected-an ode to the DD Shit Box

The stalled front that went tropical and dumped 10+ inches of rain on us here, finally moved out. So I was up early this morning and I was getting my ass kicked by 8am. I never envisioned this shit taking a damn week, win some, lose some..... Completely forgot about getting a crank pulley wrench...

T100 neglected-an ode to the DD Shit Box

The rain has been relentless here. So to kill the time I bought a cheap storage tub and washed some parts. The grime being so bad on the valve covers and plenum, I opted for Purple Power, a brass wire brush, nylon scrub pad, an appliance brush for the runners, and of course CRC for the throttle...

Yea, it's got good bones, no rust and it ran pretty good before I started meddling with it. Hopefully She has some glory left in her.

T100 neglected-an ode to the DD Shit Box

This 5VZ has an inch of grime from top to bottom, not to mention a nice bed of Oak leaves under the plenum. So when I lifted the valve covers, I was pleasantly surprised to find no sludge.

T100 neglected-an ode to the DD Shit Box

The other day I peeled back the timing cover and found a cracked out piece of rubber, so this week I started the job. The old belt was a cheap aftermarket. So I'm going with a Timing belt kit and valve cover kit, both from Toyota.

T100 neglected-an ode to the DD Shit Box

I purchased this 97' 2wd w 240k miles back in July. It needs lots of things, so I been chipping away at it. It was a neglected central Florida hunting/garbage truck for decades, so it's been feeling it's age. MC seized and replaced, still need to do front pads and rotors. Put new tires on. The...

I've had a couple more people show interest, but no response from @allco. Can't see his page until he grants your follow request.

Put a mild kit in my A750F (150k miles), should've done the torque converter as well. It slips sometimes after it gets warmed up and I'm smacking 2nd.

I don't think he had enough interest back in 23'. I've heard he was doing other fabrication projects besides suspension. Supposedly has a sm page but I didn't look for it. This is all I have... Steve Fike socalmoto@gmail.com

^^ There is a guy with one of these swaps done and claims he has the butterfly valve controlled electronically like the VVTi does from the factory. He uses a Nitrous trigger and sets the rpm parameters. The theory is that the vacuum keeps the butterfly in long runner mode through out the rpm...

    03' 4Runner V8 - "Pearl" The Prerunner Poser

I never addressed the intake being exposed to water in the fender. The liners I installed were above the intake, so it was wide open. 13 inches of rain fell in a week right after the 4th, and after several good size puddles, I found water in the CAI. Close one..... Hopefully remedied that issue...
