^^ There is a guy with one of these swaps done and claims he has the butterfly valve controlled electronically like the VVTi does from the factory. He uses a Nitrous trigger and sets the rpm parameters. The theory is that the vacuum keeps the butterfly in long runner mode through out the rpm...

I never addressed the intake being exposed to water in the fender. The liners I installed were above the intake, so it was wide open. 13 inches of rain fell in a week right after the 4th, and after several good size puddles, I found water in the CAI. Close one..... Hopefully remedied that issue...

Older Sister 1UZ. One of these Lexus LS400 Junk yard engines (Toyota didn't have a production V8 truck engine yet) modified by TRD, won Ivan a Baja 500 its first time out in 97'. Picked it up cheap. Crank spins by hand and it has the thicker 1st gen early 90s rods. Maybe a T100 project one day...

Also had the inner boot tear on the drivers DK axle around the same time as the rear blew out. DK machines their inner cup to get the extra droop. I also forgot the clearance for CV removal sucks with bump stops. So I decided that removing it was out of the question and let the pressure out...

Also forgot to post this a few months ago. Much larger Lexus RC-F throttle body on a URD adapter plate. Not usually meant for an 03', but w my upgraded 06' plenum, and inverting the throttle body for the harness connector to reach, its works quite well.
