Vinyl wrap taco opinions

Ok guys my friend is selling her 2013 Double Cab Taco. The paint on the hood is reached but rest looks great. I told her she should wrap the hood an accent color or color matched grey vinyl. What do you guys think about that?

Would flat black in the middle and color match on the sides be an option? Otherwise color match is better imo if wanting to get a better deal from her end.

A local friend to her said he has a body shop that can sand and color match paint the hood for under 500. He said vinyl wrap would be about the same and wouldn't be perfect.
