shackle service question

Servicing my shackle bushings and was curious how tight you guys are going on the upper bolt for total caos 12 inch shackles. When I first assembled it I cranked them pretty tight and was told to loosen them up as it wasn't letting my rear end drop out. Does anyone have any tips on how to set them correctly or just good things to do with Leaf under setups to reach their full potential.

Bolts should be fully tight, something around 130ft lbs. if it’s a vulacanized rubber bushing tighten at ride height, If it’s a separate bushing and sleeve you can tighten at any height.

Make sure the inner sleeves are actually long enough to pinch down and not too short where they’ll just smash the rubber to shit lol.

Run thick wall sleeves and kill the bolts.
