Hey all! New member out of Mesa, AZ here.

Just got back from the 2023 Cinders OHV takeover - had an absolute BLAST. This was my first trip up to Cinders as well as my introduction to BLGT. Great time gentlemen, glad to have met some of y’all and shoot the shit. Until next time 🤘🏽

Here’s a quick rundown on the ol’ tank that I wheel:

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 4wd “DZLTRX”
Thuren 3” coils
Thuren LT leafs/shackles
Thuren front axle truss
King 3.0 10” smooth body, Thuren stage 6 valving
King 3.0 12” 4 tube, Thuren stage 5 valving
Firch Fab radius long arms
Firch Fab LT traction bars
Carli track bar
EMF ball joints
Synergy steering linkage
Thuren King steering damper
37x12.50 Yokohama MTs
17x8.5 TrailReady HD17 beadlocks

How does that rear track bar work? it doesn't create any binding? I've only ever seen them work if one side had a pivot.

Sure thing buddy! Likewise.

Without a frame-side shackle, any rear bars to my knowledge will create binding to some degree. However with good mounting location geometry and joint selection, it’s mitigated. When these traction bars were being developed around these leafs, they allowed up to 18” of clean wheel travel when not being limited by shock length; so the stock location rear shocks are still ultimately my limiting factor back there!
