I'm George from San Dimas, I just came across your videos and then found your forum (I was on Dezert Rangers years ago). I'm running around in a 3rd Gen Tacoma. I usually hit up Azusa Canyon once a month and then depending on the weather, either the desert toward Barstow, or the mountains in Big Bear.

The truck has Bilstein 6112/5160s with some PerryParts bump stops. Besides that its on stock size Duratracs....

It's like 25ish minutes and 9 miles from my front door....the 10 bucks to enter seems steep for what it is (I remember it being open on weekdays using an honor system envelope $5 fee), but sometimes it's nice just to hit the dirt (it's all silty right now) and not burn through tons of gas. Plus, I like watching the mudders destroy their trucks.

oh 100%... some day i'll have to take the fam up there for old time sake.. I think there is a few trails way back in the mountians, not sure if they still give out the gate codes?

The last gate code you could get was Rincon Redbox Truck Trail. They haven't given access in about 2 years. So it's just the OHV open now.
