AEV Prospector Power Wagon

My Tahoe is at a point where I just really want to go through it, the motor is tired. We are in the middle of working our way through building on some acreage so it’ll be a while before I can throw anything at the Tahoe. Needed a 3/4 or heavier truck and wound up with this Power Wagon. Can still get out and play and I’ll be able to do what I need to with the truck as a truck. I really love it so far. Such a well sorted truck

There will be Things for it in the future but it’s pretty sweet as it sits!

Went with some guys I used to work with. Couple 4Runners, an 80 series and a gladiator with camper. Got to use my winch to save the Gladiator , he tried going down a v notch and his front right slipped and almost sent him ass over tea kettle

And I had a little bit of death wobble leaving Sedona, I’d like to think it was just the truck being sad about leaving Sedona, but gonna have to look in to that

I hate the pink Jeepers, its like they hand picked the most self entitled, negatively stereotyped Jeep owners to employ to pilot them.

100%, I came nose to nose with one on Broken Arrow, he would’ve had to back up about 30 yards to let me by and I had to back up around two turns and about 150 yards to get to a spot. Nose to nose and he puts his hands up like “come on”

I couldn’t think of anything snarky to say when he came by 🤦‍♂️

To be honest, I’ll probably avoid Sedona in the future. I’ve been once before and don’t remember being as annoyed but after this time I’m over it. Way too busy for me. Trails are a cluster, sucks getting through town, and the people.

Went and checked out a part of the state I haven’t spent any real time in before. Chiricahua Mountains.

What a stunning place, got some glamour shots of the truck. No real trails, just some forest service roads. Wife and niece had fun 👍

Finally got a chance to check out the light setup in the dark, I’m happy with it. Needs more side coverage and a bit more down the road but it’s pretty good. Have bright LEDs in the headlight bulbs, added a bright yellow led bulb to the brights and it has some Vision X lights on the bumper.

Just headlights

It’s also kind of hard to get pictures of the light levels but you get the idea

Wasn’t planning on being out in the dark but it gave me a chance to check out the lights which is cool.

We talked to a Canuck on an adventure bike earlier in the day, a while later we saw him laying on the ground with all his stuff so we stopped. He picked a bad line through some mud, got highsided off his bike a fucked up
Or broke his ankle. So we waited with him until the ambulance and sheriff got there. I feel for the guy, he was in to day 3 of a month long trip on his new bike.
