My name is Jeff (meme already claimed). I'm an old Gen X dude born and raised in El Cajon. Ruled the town in the early '80s on my BMX bike hitting every sweet jump I could find. Fast forward a few decades and I'm in a further East County of AZ looking for a comfy pre-runner and saw this '95 Bronco sitting on RDC for awhile and it just called to me. It was 5 years ago and California was having some kind of pandemic with masks and shit but I took a trailer to LA and got me a Bronco.

The '95 has been around with many prior owners. It doesn't look much different today then it did 5 years ago. If you recognize and know a little history let me know. It still runs 37" Toyos and Method wheels. 4.5 over beams believed to be Threat, but probably WIY. Nice swing set steering setup. 3.0 King coilover IBPs and bumps. Rear Deaver Q80s and King IBPs w/ upper mount. Solo front/rear bumpers. PRP standard seats. Was a 3 seater but I put in a bench.

Work over the years has mostly been break it, fix it. Lost the passenger front axle and rebuilt the front end completely. Replaced the home built extended length axles with some from Threat. Cleaned up the cab and added a Solo cage and sprayed out the blue dash. Added a Desolate console. Cleaned up some wiring with SwitchPros. Swapped in an F-150 XLT instrument cluster to get a tach. Changed out the steering column for a rebuilt tilt column w/ quick release. Changed the water pump on the mighty 302 and installed the Saginaw power steering pump from Desolate. Moved the battery to the rear and installed a Mechman 240A alternator to better power the existing electric fans.

Overall, this Bronco has been a ton of fun. I also have a RZR and do Glamis with it, but more and more I'm into the Bronco. Took it to KOH this year and had a blast until I shredded a tire w/o bringing a spare. Still learning.

On the hunt for an affordable rear end. Running the stock 8.8 with a 3" inch adapters to get some matching width in the rear. I've got 4.56 gears and want to get to 5.13. I need more power of course, but the 302 has been so reliable. It doesn't leak a drop and blows cold AC so it stays until it lets me down.

Anyways, been a couple years since I joined and wanted to say hello and thanks for a great forum.IMG_5569[1].JPGthumbnail_IMG_3011.jpgIMG_5211[1].JPG
