So I haven’t started this project but I want to make some headlights for my 98 4runner using some Baja designs SAE s2 or SAE squadron lights. I saw this on instagram once but can’t find the post showing them off. I don’t like my current headlights since the bulbs that I currently have like to fall out of the housings on the trails. I just thought this was a neat idea for a replacement and was wondering if anyone had some pointers on the topic.

At least get some 99+ headlight housings - they won’t have the lines on the lenses that break up the light badly. I did the high powered H4 negative switched Auxbean harness that provides more power to the headlights with high output H4 bulbs (I bought them from Europe but there’s some on Amazon these days) and put some SAE fogs lower to come on with the headlight switch. Otherwise my wife would always forget they were there.
