It's never too early to discuss, right?

Not sure how i feel about the move to Costa Mesa. Pomona was always a good time. I've never been to the OC fair grounds.. Anyways, main reason i wanted to start this is to see if we could get a BLGT meet going after the show like we did last year? It was a highlight of the trip for Wes and I. Maybe meet up in Huntington? Or a brewery close to the fair grounds?
 
I am down for the meet... i personally feel like the expo is on its last leg. Having this year right after the sand sports show at the same area, doesnt seem smart... I forsee the expo being smaller this year.

Also i saw a overland show at costa mesa in a few weeks... I would bet my last buck that in a few years it will be only the sand sports and overland expo per year in so cal.
 
Yeah, the Overland Expo is this weekend. ORE claims the reason for the move is to make the event even bigger than Pomona would allow. I've never attended SSSS but i hear its a blast, its just always been so close to ORE i couldnt do both.
 
didn’t they do it here once during Covid? I might have it mixed up with something else. But If so, it’s gotta be because there’s more and more empty space at Pomona each year. After last year the future of the event didn’t seem all that promising unfortunately

If i were to do a booth at one of them, it would be SSSS vs offroad expo... the expo is dead unfortunately. SSSS gets twice the amount of people.

Such a planner lol I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing tonight for dinner. I'm down to meet up. Would be cool to get some rigs in the show with some of the King of the Canners cans. Maybe I should start checking that out this year.

Still think having BLGT area in one of the shows would be awesome. Show some folks that you can still have fun in a leaf sprung and A-Arm and just overall budget build trucks.
Seems like Terra turned into high end builds now.

Would be nice if these 2 shows took a que from the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona and allowed drive in's to park inside the grounds.
The GNRS allows anyone who wants to pay extra to drive their car in and park it between the buildings or out back. Downfall is once you're in there, you're stuck there all day. All the big show cars are in the buildings. This does make Saturday a busier day for spectators as they know there is more cars to see there. This year Saturday at the GNRS brought in about 800 drive in cars from the outside. Sunday had about 50 cars. Also helps generate more revenue for the venue and just make it a overall better experience.

Ontario convention center was the Covid show
 
Yeah ontario was the covid show. I would like to bring my F150 to let people see the cantilever and how much of a sleeper it is in person. Dented up body and all because I Dgaf

Hell yeah sound badass and I can’t deal with the shows anymore everyone turns into a critics looking for billet and tig welds to make it a nice truck even if it never touches dirt
