2002 sport trac

Figured I’d jump on and share the journey of my sport trac. Bought this truck out of California just over four years ago with sway away threaded shock bodies and deavers in the rear with a BMS front kit and single sway away coil over on the front and bump stops. Was bone stock interior when I picked it up stock 4.0 and trans. Truck seems to be a never-ending build at this point here are some pictures from the ad and when I picked it up

Ended up taking it on a few rides in town and to the dunes a few times. The rear end needed a lot of help thing rode like wooden wagon anywhere but the road. here’s some pictures of the truck in the form I picked it up and went straight to driving it Threw some whip mounts on it and wired up some buggy whips

I was wondering how long it was gonna take you to chime in. Wanna sell that explorer yet?

After the first dune season I dropped the truck off for a bed cage 3.0x16 ads bypasses and ads bump stops. Had the front sway aways re valved by Tyler at Arizona chassis engineering at the same time. Archived a bit more rear travel and definitely a better ride. Not as much up travel as I wanted still using the factory rear frame with no notching. Found some polished walkers and threw those one was sitting pretty good and drove it once again for a few trips like this.
