1999 Ford Ranger Prerunner
I spent about 5 years building this truck, finished in 2023, took it to the desert once, i take it to the local track one day a year and beyond that it either sits or i take it to the store for beer runs. It's a badass garage build i put alot of blood sweat and tears into this truck, chasing a high school dream of having a V8 prerunner. Finished it and realized in norcal it wont get much use.. Putting my time into both my broncos and a few other 4wd toys now. Specs below. Truck is located in Elk Grove, CA, just south of sacramento. Will need to either be sold out of state or dirty smogged for california registration. I dont get on here as much as i'd like but i have email notifications on for updates to this thread or DMs. Thanks for looking guys!
Drivetrain:
5.0L V8 – Explorer engine rebuilt with around 200k on the lower end only, fully rebuilt GT40P heads by Moores Engine Supply, entire engine resealed. No leaks, works great tons of power and torque. Factory explorer EFI.

8.8 Full width w/ 4.56 gears and Detroit Locker, Ruffstuff Diff Cover, All Timken Bearings and Seals
Custom steel driveshaft 1310 U-Joints made by B&W Driveline Plus, large piston Cadillac calipers in the rear with fully functioning e-brake
Suspension:
Front - BTF Long Travel 4.5” wider than stock, King 2.5x10” Coilovers w/ remote reservoirs, King 2.5x2” Bump stops, custom upper arms with ¾ Heim frame pivots, ¾ inner heim w/ Camburg Clevis 7/8 outer heims on steering linkage, WFO limit straps, custom uprights with D44 spindle/hubs, Ford slotted/drilled Rotors with Large piston GM calipers, custom stainless braided brake lines. All tied in with a custom DOM engine cage. 3/16” Plated frame, gusseted upper arm pivots, weld washers on everything.
Rear – Deaver F31 Springs w/ custom shackles, kartek spring hangers, King 2.5 x 16” smooth body shocks with remote reservoirs, custom bedcage that saves a lot of bed space. It is removeable via tube couplers. Ruffstuff Limit Straps.
Interior:
Corbeau Baja SS Seats w/ sliders
Grant GT Steering Wheel with quick release
Custom center switch panel w/ cupholder (not 100% finished), hidden fuse and relay panel in the dash.
Sony Stereo, vinyl floor manual windows and locks etc.
Exterior:
Glassworks fiberglass all around, some of the best fenders and bedsides made for these trucks
Custom 1.75” DOM front bumper w/ aluminum skid plate
(4) Wild Horses Revolution LED spot Lights up top, (2) Rough Country LED cubes down lower w/ daily driver amber and white flood lights.
Custom rear 3/16” box tube / 1.5” DOM tube bumper w/ recovery shackles and tow hitch receiver

Bedside supports in rear of the bed
