went off your measurements, same glass, McNeil said they’ve done a couple with tail light fillers, just not very many.
Next time I’m able to head out there to work on this I’m gonna see what or how far kicking the bedsides does, pretty certain it’s going to have little effect
Moved the truck to my buddies shop, we got some room to work in now
Bedsides mounted but got absolutely hacked clearing 40”s
Need to rework them a bit I think
That’s all it’s about. The holes are just getting bigger.
It’s also getting harder to find takeoff 37s, 40s are a dime a dozen. I get these for dirt cheap.
This was fun. Machined/Cut the splined shaft off the column carefully on the lathe, then machined it and an extension piece to lengthen the steering shaft 4 inches since I moved the seats back again.
Made an internal bar to fixture for welding, all said and done It has less than .005” runout...
it’s a combination of a few things. I’d already sealed up the floor, so my laziness took over
That area of the floor is where the stock seat belts bolt in, it’s extra thick so it made a good landing pad. The mounts aren’t removable it was literally to index them
Center console is almost...
Trying to knock a bunch out before our new years trip.
Hopefully last trip to the desert without the truck.
Trans is at maximum getting built. Steering is at PSS, Glass is getting made
Got a bunch of 40s from herbst
