The weight im towing (+14k) with the bumper pull was not very comfortable unless on the open road. Drivability is way nicer and way more maneuverable in the city.
No worries man on the swapmeet items, atleast they are sitting on your shelf and not mine
Layer are great and a useful tool for sure when using google earth and trying to map routes. They are not useful when you actually transfer your tracks to gps apps as layers are dependent on the apps abilities, which most dont have a large range of options.
One layer i do find extremely helpful...
@4lowlance good to meet you at the swapmeet!
Can you repeat camp spot expectations for each night again. Or atleast for thursday night/friday night?
I think @dwphoto and i cant meet up with you guys till friday morn?
If i dont use the skinny pedal i can push 225 miles.
Its ok, dwphoto will carry extra fuel for me, he also happens to carry a spare tire for me and all the tools i would need. Oh ya and beer too! 😁😁😁😘
Heads up we may need to notify or reach out to Cerro Gordo to let them know a group is coming through, i don't know how it works these days, but it is technically private property so i think it has to be arranged. Maybe not if the group is just driving through???
All those planned stops seem...
Interested in making this since the kids are off for spring break that week. Ill see how it plays out since ill be just getting back from a sisters wedding back east the weekend before…
Throw me on the list for this trip. Idea will be to bring my son Ryder (5) along. But as he is on the younger side id like to possibly jump in for a part of the trip, and maybe skip any high elevation (bristlecone tree forest) if remotely possible. So curious to what the final plan will be route...
What do you plan to be doing up that way that requires 4x4?
Would be interested in this trip for sure. Northern Nevada does not disappoint, nor do 395 views...
