Yep grill is staying and have an original chrome bumper for the front. Will look similar to Cole Edmund’s (ERD Off-road) old red ranger. I’ll have to get some custom fenders for the front but will retain the old rain gutter looks (no raptor conversion)

I know right, we’ll see. Original cage was subpar to begin with, I couldn’t sell it to anyone with good conscience. But like Kevin said basically everything is getting reused from the original truck or from parts I bought to put on the old one. Trying to keep it cheap!

So it begins…. Tubing picked up and ranger shell getting prepped. Last pickup of sheet metal parts by next week and dropping off at Robert’s Custom Trucks. Jake was nice enough to rent me space in his shop to use his chassis table. Looking to have it ready by October 🤞🏽 Reusing most things from...

Good to hear, thanks Christian. And yes, not sure if you saw my other message but no issues uploading a step file from Fusion for laser cutting/bending. All the shops I talked do didn’t even need me to notch/normalize the tubing since their programs do it automatically. Whatever you name each...

2” DOM, I’d add probably over a thousand more for chromoly not sure. I paid $5400 for the chassis to be cut out (not including any jigs or sheet metal parts), I don't think its the cheapest but definitely within range of what I’d say is reasonable for a one off job. To reference some production...

Man, making fixtures is probably the most boring thing to do. Was able to use the same 2 Tall and 2 Short posts for most of the fixtures by making each face specific to a different area. Doing my best to be able to reuse fixtures in multiple places. Just about wrapped up, just need to confirm...

Well the chassis is being cut out by KevCoEngineering (formerly at HDLaser) and plate work at HDLaser both in Hesperia. Kevin has always been great to work with and made it a no brainer to give him the job. From tube bending/cutting/labeling, platework, and all jigs, we are looking at roughly...

Still looking for a home for her, offering $500 to someone that can bring a buyer. Here are some more pictures of the truck. Bought the truck back in 2023, believe I only put 7K on her since then. Was going to be a tow/work rig but honestly just don't use it enough, my wife drove it more than I...

Rad thank you for the insight Kev. Already had the radiator from off the back of the original truck and it’s big for sure, I’ll see what I can do ducting wise once it’s getting assembled. I’m sure I’ll be hitting you up when it comes time to tune the truck.

I think of all the time I've spent cutting and grinding mistakes and I’d much rather spend my time welding. If something gets damaged or I want to add onto the truck, I just edit the file and can cut a couple tubes by hand if needed, since I’ll have the angles and notches to print out as a template.

The core support already has two coolers mounted into it so just working around it right now. Frame is notched to receive the core support and will have it hard mounted. I drew the radiator up in CAD, if you look at the most recent pictures, I laid the radiator forward to have it fit in the...

What a trip it has been designing something from the ground up. It is definitely surreal to see something that has taken years come to fruition, and it hasn't even hit a chassis table yet. Thank you to everyone who has given input into the build and the help along the way, I really appreciate...
